DiscoverCars.com wins SEO In-House Team of the Year in the Search Engine Land Awards 2021

We are ecstatic that our in-house SEO team has been named the In-House Team of the Year — SEO in the 2021 Search Engine Land Awards — the Highest Honor in Seach!

This award was no doubt due to our team exceeding its yearly goal, increasing SEO traffic four times and SEO revenue five times.

How did we do it? Well, we can't give all our secrets away, but suffice to say that we focused on the best way we could be the competition. It was infeasible to catch up with competitors solely by building links, so we focused on making our website and its content more trustworthy for consumers.

There was so technical stuff too that we won't bore you with. Let's see what you (and the judges) really care about — the results:

  • Elisaveta (2 years) - manages translators (we have 18 languages on our website)
  • Marina (2 years) - helped us win multiple travel awards
  • Sergey (2 years), Aleksandra (6 months), and Renars (1 year) - land mentions from authoritative websites
  • Hana (outsourced) - oversees PR campaigns and obtaining media mentions
  • Aleksandrs (3 years) - management and SEO strategy, more than 10 years of SEO experience, only one person in the team who focus on ranking factors and SEO, all other team member focus on improving the quality, expertise, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness of our website
  • With help from the development and UX teams: Sergey (6 years), Dmitry (3 years), Illarion (9 months), Ervins (5 years), and Antons (1 year)
