Everything about Iceland is amazing, from the constant natural beauty when you're driving around the country, to the hot springs/lagoons, and even all the food was top notch. Expensive overall, but absolutely worth the experience.

Iceland, loved it. Saw almost everything you think of when you mention the country, Orcas and Humpback whales, pretty villages, waterfalls, ice, snow, glaciers, land littered with former and dormant volcanoes, mountains and a rift valley.

The waterfalls are all amazing to look at, it's worth doing some research to find others that aren't so tourist filled e.g. Faxifoss - amazing and not on many of the recommended pages. There's also Kerid crater, various cave/landscape locations around the black sand beach. Reykjavik is lovely and well worth trying to find a more traditionally icelandic place to eat, Íslenski barinn was a great little restaurant I could recommend.

A trip to Iceland at the end
The month of June when there is no darkness and with stunning views, waterfalls, volcanoes (Askia), geothermal pools at temperatures ranging from 38-44 degrees Celsius that you can enter and enjoy for free!!! and a lot of walking (it is not possible to reach it by car until the attraction positive sports activity I have also encountered people with adults who have difficulty walking) walking and if the option is given to travel on off-road roads a highly recommended experience to be in Iceland

Amazing trip which I would not recommend doing without your own car, as you cannot truly appreciate Iceland without the flexibility of being on the road in your own time. We drove for almost 12 hours each day and still couldn't get enough of the scenery and sites.
