Cons: No directions to office. Office not signposted with a faded sign. Arrived 10:00pm but had to wait for people in front to be served and they tried to charge us because it was 10:08 when the paperwork was printed (after details had been input on the computer). I get the impression this is a go to approach as they were very quick and nonchalant in telling us to claim back from the airline.

Pros: Everything! The staff was super efficient and friendly too. The car was fantastic.

Cons: The explanation of how to find it was pretty bad for a highly educated English Speaking American. Lots of confusion with Hertz being the first kiosk you see inside the terminal, and them being used as a location marker. In my humble opinion, English directions need to simply state, "Exit the terminal and turn right to cross the street. Turn left and walk up the ramp to Hertz pick up location. Our kiosk is in the back corner of that parking lot, behind Hertz. Look for our sign.

Cons: They charge 35€ for arriving later than 10PM even thought it was due a flight delay. I had an accident-incident and agreed to give me a new car, but then, someone hit the car and the company refused to send me another car, refused to help me and refused to pick up the car even though I offered to pay for it. As well, lack f communication among the different people and departments I had contact with. I will never book any car with them.

Cons: Additional charge for picking up the car after 10/10.30pm. We were a little late but this wasn’t helped by google maps taking us elsewhere for the office.

Pros: Easy pick up once we had found the depot, the telephone number of the oofice was supplied and had we needed to we could have phoned for directions. Asking at the airport led us to the hire station. The car provided was a higher mileage car, but it was very clean, in great condition and performed faultlessly. For the price we paid, it was great value.

Cons: they charged us upon arrival for my driving license being too new (less than 3 years) most of the time the system automatically rejects if the dates do not meet the criteria set. They charged us off road, as far as I know you are not supposed to track the car, which also did not have any damages. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Véhicule Polo pas très rassurant. Le tableau de bord indiquait qu’il fallait faire une révision, mais le loueur nous a dit de ne pas en tenir compte… alors que nous avons eu des problèmes avec le levier de vitesse, qui nous ont fait quelques frayeurs.

Cons: The attitude when returning the car was horrible and not nice. We were charged 477.4 euros for a scratch on the car that we did not do. A scratch that is on the lower side of the front left bumper (a scratch that is hard to see if you don't bend down). when we pick up the vehicle they did not told us that there was a scratch as mentioned and they didn't give up on us when we returned the car despite our explanations and requests. Cons: I was disappointed with being charged €35 when I arrived at the service desk at 22:10 (10mins after office hours). The Abbeycar representative was not considerate when I told her that my flight was delayed an hour in Naples, even after I phoned them to say I would be arriving close to closing hours. There were quite a few people lined up with me at the same time, so the company was profiteering from a delayed flight. I understand that staff should be overtime, but €35 is hefty when 10mins late.

Cons: First of all, before continuing to work with this company take a little tour to their Google reviews. You'll find 200+ 1 star rating reviews and most of them with the se reason. They ask the customer to leave 350€ deposit to pick up the car, don't Inform about all the company policies and in the end keep the deposit for breach of contract. Apparently they control the car with GPS and if the car goes off-road, that's a breach of policy. It's an absolute SCAM. I am apalled you still your together.

Considering there are about a dozen different rental agencies in the same spot all with their entire fleets sitting there we had to go for a walk around. Cons: I'm splitting hair here, but I reserved a Nissan Quashqai and I got a Peugeot 2008, I know that it is common to swap cars with an equivalent or superior model. The new P 2008 felt superior in many ways (newer model), but it looked like a downgrade in term of boot space (400l rather than 500l). Eventually we managed to do almost fine with space despite travelling everyday to new locations with lots of baggages.
