Ace Rent a car
Ace Rent a Car was founded in Indianapolis, IN in 1966 by two business partners who ran a cash-washing business to fill the local need for rental cars. They then expanded their rental business over the years to new locations in Indiana and Chicago and further into Texas, Minnesota, and Arizona later. In 1986, the company started licensing its brand, which is its business today after having sold its rental operations to Avis Budget in 2014.
Ace Rent a Car currently has more than 300 licensed locations in over 45 countries and claims to be the largest system of independent rental companies in the world.
In the US, Ace is popular in Los Angeles (Los Angeles Airport), Houston (Houston Airport), and Fort Lauderdale (Fort Lauderdale Airport).
Internationally, some of its most popular locations include Palma de Mallorca Airport in the Balearic Islands, Gran Canaria Airport in the Canary Islands, Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport in France, Keflavik Airport in Iceland, Amman Queen Alia Airport in Jordan, and Krakow Airport in Poland.
