Cons: 1) The hours of operation are very restrictive. We had to leave our car one day earlier, because we needed to be at the airport at 8:30 in the morning (our flight was at 10:20 in the morning), and the company opened at 8. As a result we had to take a taxi. 2) Our communication with the staff was not good and thats because we needed to talk with different employees in order to understand the schedule of the company.

Pros: It was an efficient meet and greet service, with friendly, helpful staff. The car provided was ideal and made easy with automatic toll road system.

Cons: The only slight confusion was finding their representative initially at the airport, I felt that could be made a bit clearer. Other than that I have no complaints about an excellent service.

Cons: At the end when I returned my car I handed my car key after the inspection everything was fine with the car but the clerk said I broke the cover of car key fob showed me worn out tab on the right said that I drop the key and broke he cover and charge me 200€ to replace the whole key when in fact the key snapped back on! Beware of scam

Cons: The rent a car agent downgraded the car. I paid for a Polo or similar and he gave a Panda. The reason I believe is because he was not happy about a complaint that I made for the fact a customer jumped the queue! Very unprofessional attitude!

Pros: Both agents (on pickup and return) were very professional yet friendly. Tiago on checkout was great giving us valuable information about the workings of the electric car, and Manuel on checkin was very helpful, even providing us a ride to Oriente station.

Cons: I feel the agency could’ve provided more information about electric cars especially since this was the first time we were renting an electric one. An information booklet or sheet about the plug, the miio app, accessibility etc may have been helpful.

Cons: at drop off time, probably 40 people waiting to be served by 3 agents (each client taking around 30-45 mins). What a nightmare when you are catching a flight. Their aggressive "fault finding" of car damage was unbelievable - until we found out that the agents take commission on each billable "damage" that they discover. The whole experience was a nightmare especially with 2 small children in tow, and after having to sort out a lost bag at the airport which took 2 hours.+Diesel car an extra 21e?

Pros: They were friendly and efficient. They gave us a brand new car.

Cons: I'm not sure whether we really needed to purchase the drive-through tolls. There was a ticket stall at each toll crossing that we could have used instead. However, our agent said there were some crossing without such ticket booths, so we took his word for it and paid the extra amount.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 900.00 - € 2500.00), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Rate excludes
Many highways in mainland Portugal are tolled using only electronic means.
All rental vehicles are equipped with a transponder that can be used for paying for all toll roads.
You’ll be charged a service fee of 1.85 EUR per day up to a maximum of 18.5 EUR per rental in addition to the tolls, which will be charged to your credit card after the rental period.
You may also be required to leave an additional deposit for tolls.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 25 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Drivers between the ages of 19 and 25 must provide a driver license that is valid for at least 2 year(s).

The driver license must be written in Latin alphabet.
Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license. In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, ID card, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, photocard driving license.
Deposit and deductible policy
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to leave the deposit only with following methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.

Cash, Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.

Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: European Countries.
Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Winter tires are not mandatory in Portugal.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 0 minutes.
