Pros: Ace was fine but discovercars is 100 percent a scam! I paid 50 dollars for useless fake "full coverage" car insurance that wasn't accepted by the rental company and that lost me an entire morning.

Pros: Car was nice, shuttle driver was really welcoming, picking up the car was fast

Cons: They insisted we get their insurance even though we already had insurance through discover cars. It’s intimidating to push back and insist on not taking their insurance so we ended up just paying for it. Overall I probably wouldn’t rent a car next time we come to PR, it was more hassle than it was worth for the little time we needed the car.

Pros: Quick and easy return

Cons: It took two hours to pick up the car because of lack of information from Discover. After being on the phone with Discover for over an hour we were disconnected and the agent didn't bother to call back to continue helping. In the end we resolved the problem on our own by using our credit card insurance coverage. If we didn't think of this solution we would have had to pay $25.00 USD for coverage that we had already purchased Discover.

Cons: Nothing everything was fine even though the car had some scratches. I guess it is normal in Puerto Rico if you consider the driving is quite ectic.

Pros: The car was clean and dropping it was fast and easy

Cons: The company added a bunch of fees that doubled the initial quote. The obliterated me to pay their insurance even when I showed them my proof of insurance. The car seemed to have been in a serious accident before and wasn't properly fixed(bad handling and made noise). Also the check in time was too long.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 240.00 - € 945.00), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Energy recovery fee, Free modifications, State Tax.
Rate excludes
E-Toll is not mandatory, however, all of the rental cars are equipped with a SunPass/e-toll transponder that is glued to the windshield of the car and is not removable.

E-Toll/Sunpass activation fee is 25 USD per rental.
Personal consumption will be charged separately at the end of the rental period.

Prepaid tolls are available for 8.99 USD per day.

If the customer declines Toll pass / E-toll device, a penalty of 35.00 USD for each toll used in addition to the cost for each paid or unpaid toll will apply.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Insurance
If opting to self-insure, the renter must have a full coverage policy that includes the deductible, physical damage, and liability.

In case the customer does not have one of the insurances, mentioned above, the customer will need to purchase insurance at the counter.
More details about self-insurance requirements are available from the car rental company's reservation office.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.

It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).

Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 0 minutes.
