Cons: The Ace representative initially rented me a car that was banged up and I told them that I was displeased so they changed the car. However the car they gave me wasn’t clean on the inside. 😷

Pros: The agent was able to work to find me a large enough vehicle for me since the one I reserved was not available and he did find one for me . Even though there was a up charge which I didn’t understand since the two vehicles were pretty much the same , originally I reserved a Ford Explorer and we got a Dodge Durango pretty much the same car but it cost me $60 more dollars per day. I paid it because I needed the third row seat

Cons: Ace Rental Cars lied and said that SLI was REQUIRED to rent a car. This was not displayed when I agreed to rent the car and paid in advance, it was when I was at the rental desk at the airport. SLI is not required in Florida and it is written in their rental agreement that SLI is OPTIONAL.

Pros: The car was in a good condition despite high mileage for a rental.

Cons: Terrible customer service. The agent demanded from me to show her my car insurance declaration page when I rejected full coverage. This is unheard of. I rented cars many times from different companies always declining full coverage, not a single one wanted to see limits of my insurance. Also, there is another big problem. All your rental cars are already registered with SunPass. I brought my own SunPass transponder, but I could not register the car with SunPass. I demand $55 dollars back.

Pros: Great car

Cons: Car didnt have full gas but I was asked to return with full gas. Most difficult part was to communicate with their staff while picking up from Miami airport. A lot of things were unclear including the drop off instructions. I wasn't explained about the coverage policies. Mostly communication problems with the pick up staff.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage (except for local residents), Collision Damage Waiver, Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Rate excludes
An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): USA.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, return flight ticket, proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill), proof of liability insurance.

A local renter is defined as a renter who has a license issued in USA - Florida and who is flying into the country without a return ticket.
A local renter is defined as a renter who lives within 65 miles of the pickup location and who is not flying into town with a return ticket.
Insurance
USA - Florida residents must use their own Third Party Liability and Collision Damage Waiver insurance policies.
The renter must provide proof of the following insurance policy(ies): Full insurance, valid in the following country(ies): USA for the duration of the rental.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.

Maestro, Cash, Cheques, Diners, Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Crossing country/state borders is not allowed.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
