AddCar at Dubai Int. Airport

Pros: I had a very good experience with AddCar. They were waiting for me at the airport when I arrived and all the representatives were respectful and always ready to help. The car was clean and in good condition and good on gas. the overall service was very convenient and hassle free Highly recommended and affordable service

Cons: They begs me to change the car , after I accepted thier request after waiting them for 1.5 hour to do so, they asked me to pay the parking for both cars , however I paid already for one of them Also although they mentioned security fees deposit will be unhold in 30 days , after I dropoff the car they said that it will be after 35 days minimum

Pros: AddCar do not have an office inside the terminal. They have agents that deliver the car in the parking lot and also check-out. Sounds complicated, but it is an easy and fast process.

Cons: I didn’t like the deposit I have to pay , normally is normal to pay an amount but in my opinion you get it back so late and you have to wait around 1 month to show and get your money back ! That’s so late

Cons: bad return policy, average communication, they don't understand English. The service is not ok. They said I have to pay cash. after I told them I have only card it took 1 hour for the payment and the charge of the deposit because their pos machine did not worked.

Cons: The pickup was somehow hard - the driver tried to scam us over the conversion rates (wanted to charge 5% more, stating it was for VAT - although I had it printed how much I should pay and it stated it's "including VAT" The other problem was with the insurance-I wanted to purchase the full insurance as agreed via email directly with AddCar-for the price of 8 EUR per day. However, the agent on a pickup didn't want to provide it,laughing at me and saying it is 40€, despite me showing him the email

Pros: Dropping the car off at dubai Airport on my way back to London was smooth. Gentleman was on time, very polite. Provided the right information and very practical. Generally a pleasent experience. Completely opposite to the picking up experience.

Cons: Picking up was a disaster. The guy wasn't waiting for us at t-1 of dubai airport. I found out afterwards that he was told to wait at t-3, even though I clearly mentioned on my booking that I am arriving at terminal 1, I also gave the flight number. I was told it's my fault 🙄 I was asked to pay deposit in cash, I found that little odd and scandalous. Normally deposit is returned to the customer if everything is OK, how would they return cash deposit to international customers. Scam🙄

Cons: Add car representative showed 50 mins late to airport. Scammed me out of 50 AED For “airport parking” found out later it was only 10 AED and why would I need to pay for it? Low air in tyres. Would not recommend

Cons: There is no office in the airport terminal. I called the representative who gave me the car, but he didn’t respond to my calls and WhatsApp messages. When I picked up the car.. he told me to call him when I came to drop it off. I did so, but he didn’t respond. There was no enough time for me because I had to catch my flight. After several failed attempts, I called the number in the confirmation email. Luckily, they responded and the representative came to me after waiting for like 40 min or so.
