Cons: waiting for the shuttle even though I could have walked to the agency as it is superclose! Also making me pay 50 euros extra for a drop off before 8! Hidden fees and they make you very scared it will be super overcrowded at 8 do they can’t promise you will make your flight at 10.

Cons: Fee to ‘rent’ the via verde transponder, usually you pay a deposit and get it back if you don’t use the tolls. With these it’s mandatory. So why not just add it to rental fee? It’s very missleading. Also i booked the car for 8pm, the time their office closed. Flight was delayed 50mins so got a €50 fine for during up outside of office hours. Absolute stitch up, can’t not pay as i needed the car.

Cons: Your price was cheaper than theirs ! Hence the booking was made with you rather than directly with them.

Cons: We had to wait a long time for pick-up and the transport was too small so a few guests were left behind. You need a physical credit card for the deposit ( a very high deposit ) and the CCV code was noted on paper. No security there! They can make a fortune making credit cards with all the info needed!

Cons: The check in agent was not as pleasant as the return. When showing us the boot of the car my partner put the bags in, and she asked him to remove them until she handed us the keys. This seemed unreasonable as we had just been charged for 2 additional unknown fees and had paid for the car. Also by not clarifying how big a mark should be to be considered chargeable made us feel uneasy that we might have missed a tiny scratch and be responsible for it.

Cons: We were lied to and forced to purchase a service we didn’t need. They admitted their agent gave false information but would not refund the money they took. Do not use this company. If you must, do not pay the extra cash for driving to Spain unless you know for sure you are going to Spain. If you are undecided, you can call back later. Ignore the agent who tries to force you to purchase on the spot. Also the airport pick up never showed up. We had to walk to their office.

Pros: All great as long as you accept that it’s a shuttle bus to a nearby depot not in-airport service. For me, cheaper but a little more time was perfect.

Cons: To pay a 40 euro extra because we brought the car before 08 am back is a shame. We were very disappointed and personnel refused to bring us to the airport. We walked to the airport and when the driver came back with the bus he almost hit me while i crossed the road on a pedestrian crossing.

Cons: Main downside was transit to and from airport and car rental location. There was supposed to be a shuttle every 10 minutes but in reality it took nearly half an hour for one to come. Altogether the transit (walk to pick-up location, waiting for van, ride to rental location) takes min. 40 mins so treavellers should budget time for this. Another thing was additional (mandatory) charge for a device that records toll road charges. For 9 days we were charged €19 euros

By the time we were brought to the airauto depot it had gone past 21.00 and they charged us €25 additional fee for late hours service. They said openly to us that they "do not believe that you waited that long". They also tried to charge us for the pre-payment that i had already paid with my credit card when i made the booking.

Pros: Airauto are just the best the service you receive is really friendly nothing is to much trouble they really believe in the customer satisfaction. I have used them 4 times now with no trouble at all and the cars are really good money for value.

Cons: I have nothing to say that I did not like about their service at all. The only thing I think that they should look at is the amount you have to pay if you take out their full insurance package. As I do you can take out insurance in the UK to cover all damage should it happen for about £25, for 10 days. I would sooner pay Airauto this money but their insurance works out about £15 per day. I guess there must be a reason that they cannot offer it at this low price?

Shuttle driver tried to tell me I would have to wait for next bus as it was full but I was 1st in the queue but failed to 'register' with him. It is his job to see who is first and take their details as I did not know the procedure. As it happened there was room and I refused to get off the bus but if I had to wait would have cancelled the booking
