Cons: Unfortunatelly we couldnt get our car on time. About 1.5 hour we waited. Then they offered manuel and small car( my reservaiton was medium and automatic car) I got it because I wouldnt like to wait more. Of course I had problem for my luggages as family. I dont recommend to anyone and also I dont prefer in the future.

Pros: The agent was efficient in filling the documents, the queue was not too long. The agent did not try to persuade me buying their coverage after I showed discover car full coverage. The car was very clean. The return was quick and simple.

Cons: The car had scratches not marked in the agreement. I had to return to the office and request to add them into the agreement (otherwise, the proof lies on YOU on return). After returning to the garage and packing all the baggage, I found the passenger safety belt cannot be buckled. I had to return again to the office and ask for a car replacement. So, it took a lot of time overall.

Pros: Great service. Quick, friendly, not picking too much on small details.

Cons: I did not like the fact that I need to pay for all days when going out of Germany while I spent only one day. Also, when I went to Alamo agency in another city after 5 days and I was told that I will pay for 5 days and not full time, this info has not been seen in the check out counter. The service person was really nice and accepted my explanation and we paid only for 5 days. I personally prefer to pay more per day than rather to all days.

Rental Conditions

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Mileage: 1500 km per rental, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1050.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium location fee, Vehicle registration fee, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Mileage policy
Mileage is limited, there will be a surcharge for each additional km.
The cost for additional mileage (mileage extension) depends on the vehicle type.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
All non-EU residents staying in the EU for longer than 6 months must present a driving licence from an EU country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license. In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, local address (apartment; hotel; villa; etc.).
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Deductible/excess will be charged per damage.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).

During winter season (from 01.11 until 31.03) Winter tires are included in price.
Booked extras are not guaranteed. All extras are subject to availability at the rental counter.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges. Diesel vehicles are available for an additional charge.
Additional information
Winter tires are mandatory in icy/snowy conditions from 01.11 to 31.03.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 28 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is not available.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 29 minutes.
