Pros: Staff at Inverness were friendly and helpful
Cons: On arrival the car was not ready,despite that our flight was delayed. Staff friendly assistance did in away make up ,but delayed our plans for the day. On return the location is poorly marked, staff were reluctant to assist and delayed us further. The traffic into Edinburgh was a nightmare. Drop off of car took longer than our general experience.

Cons: 1. A car rented with no fuel in the tank. 2. The rental quote where we had not been told about the £1500 excess which doubled the rental cost to purchase insurance to remove.
Pros: The agents at the Alamo seat were both so nice and helpful when we picked up and dropped off our rental car. I would definitely book with them again.
Cons: There was nothing at all to complain about.
Pros: Did not receive a car.
Cons: After not having the reservation they didn't offer to call the other rental place they said we should try or give us a ride over there for the inconvenience of not having my car or reservation.
Pros: The staff were so amazing. The car was clean, no dents or scratches or anything (and it was an upgrade, which made me nervous in terms of liability, but everything was priced at the original car I'd selected, which was so nice! And with all the rain, the car handled SO well, it was such a nice vehicle).

A Young driver fee is not applied.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.
UK residents that hold a non-UK licence may drive in the UK for up to 12 months from the time they become a resident. After 12 months, the overseas licence will be deemed illegal in the UK and it must be exchanged for the UK equivalent.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In order to pick up the car, domestic renters must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, additional ID showing home address (e.g. Utility bill), proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill), ID with photo. In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, flight information.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.

Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Winter tires are recommended during the winter season but are not mandatory.
Snow chains are allowed in icy/snowy conditions.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 29 minutes.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 29 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges.
