Pros: I don’t lake anything, because of the flight delay the company cancelled my rent. I have been written my flight number in the booking info, but the company hasn’t delayed my book and cancelled the booking. I’ve leaved without car and they don’t return me my deposit.

Pros: The car itself.

Cons: Everything else, the service was not at a reasonable level. It is not understood why you have to stop at the desk in the terminal and then start the whole process again down in the parking lot.

Pros: you did not warn me that the deposit requires a physical (plastic card) I have 7 years in different places using my credit card all over the world and I have never asked for a physical (plastic) card. so, Alamo refused me., my children they were very tired. I had to look for a car in the airport. I lost time, money (I sent you 30€). of course I found a car. But it wasn’t the car I wanted anymore, and it was obviously more expensive.

Pros: Alamo was good. Although pick up was a bit rushed - they were busy and didn't explain the car set up.

Cons: They didn't tell me about pre existing damage. Just said take a photo. Also the car provided didn't have a reversing camera which was annoying when you are used to it

Cons: Carro alugado nao estava disponivel. Demorou mais de 120 minutos para o levantamento. No momento do levantamento, foi solicitado segundo cartao para bloqueio, o cartao valido nao foi aceite pois nao tinha o numero impresso na tarjeta (outras 3 locacao realizadas foram aceites). Nao foi oferecido baixar a classe da reserva apos esse problema, depois de muita conversa, a reserva do veiculo de 9 lugares foi oferecido um fiat 500 no lugar, 4 lugares, sem devolucao das taxas. Tive que alugar outro.

Cons: carro alugado nao disponivel, espera de mais de 60 minutos. nao ofereceram no balcao outro carro, depois de horas, o time de levantamento ofereceu outros carros aceitando a CNH digital brasileira para outro condutor, o que nao é permitido no pais (fiquei sabendo depois em pesquisa, corremos risco com isso). tinhamos 4 reservas distintas, todas deram problemas.

Pros: The operatives were polite and helpful, but the whole service was let down by the inability to contact Alamo by the customer service telephone line which is unobtainable.

Cons: Pickup instructions and lack of a working telephone number to inform Alamo of late pickup due to flight delays costing me to have to use a taxi at a cost of €75, and loss of one days (paid for) car hire.

Pros: Easy to find, process straightforward

Cons: Didn't get the car we booked, ended up with large 'upgrade' which wasnt an upgrade for us. They needed a credit card, ok, but acted far too quickly on charging the credit card when we wanted to pay with travel card. Consequently we will end up with large international transaction fees from our bank and surplus euros on our travel card

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1200.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Personal Accident Insurance, Premium location fee, Vehicle registration fee, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Rate excludes
The following surcharges may apply: Premium Location surcharge.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): EU countries.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit or debit card on a main driver's name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, return flight ticket, proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill), flight information.


To rent the following vehicle category(ies): Luxury, Premium, Cabrios, Special, Prestige, you must provide the following document(s) at pickup: flight information, local address (apartment; hotel; villa; etc.).
Insurance
The renter can use his/her own insurance, but if this insurance is declined or the renter doesn't bring his/her own insurance, the following insurance type(s):Partial Damage Waiver (PDW), Roadside Assistance will be available at the rental desk for an additional charge.
More details about self-insurance requirements are available from the car rental company's reservation office.
If no insurance option is chosen, the renter is responsible for the full value of the vehicle, passenger liability, and third party liability.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.

The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
Written permission from the rental company is required.
Crossing country borders to Andorra, Portugal, Gibraltar is free of charge. Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Switzerland.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).

It is allowed to add up to 3 additional drivers. Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Winter tires are not mandatory in Spain.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 29 minutes.
The grace period will be honored only during business hours.
