Pros: Bi-lingual communication, professionalism and friendliness of staff, speed of service at pick up and drop off.
Cons: Car hire in Costa Rica is very expensive. The car battery became sluggish and then ultimately failed, meaning that we could not trust it to start for around 5 days. We received a jump start from a friendly local in Las Pavonas. Although Alamo in Jaco replaced the battery quickly once it had completely failed, they declined to assist earlier - during the preceding days when the battery was intermittent/unreliable. Earlier intervention would have been better.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1910.00), Theft Protection, Airport surcharge, Third Party Liability, Vehicle registration fee, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.

At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

The maximum rental period per agreement is 60 days.
