Pros: The car was a death trap. No water for the windscreen wipers and the car windows and windscreen steam up continously even with AC on or the windows open. Way too dangerous to drive. Rented a Nissan Sunny which isn't a high end car, regardless of that, a dangerous car should not be rented out. Economy car should still be of good standard.

Cons: They ask me to sign me contract without explanation because it’s night they took more then an hour to handover the vehicle. While dropping back the car they were very rude and aggressive they don’t want to listen it to me they charge me 850 QAR for a normal scratch… they took 2 hours.. photos attached for my car condition what I have handover all photos clicked at the time of handover. I almost loosing my flight end of the day I end up paying 850 QAR for normal I don’t have any option.

Cons: 1. They take a deposit of 2000 QAR for traffic fine security even after buying extra insurance which is new - it’s going to be returned within 21 working days. 2. The service left a sour taste due to the appalling behavior of one staff member. Despite making a suggestion over the phone, he responded rudely, shouting demands for an immediate return to the airport, despite the inconvenience caused by them. Other than that, the rest of the staff were very nice.

Pros: The service provided by Alamo was near enough to zero. I booked a small car as it was my first time in Doha however they tried to push me to pay more money for a bigger car. After I said I only want a small car they still gave me the bigger car which I wasn’t happy about. After that I called the agents 5 times and messaged them on 2 different numbers provided by them for advice as I had reversed into a bollard however they deliberately ignored my questions and didn’t advice me, when I retuned

Cons: Returned the car without informing they charged me 350qr extra for not doing a police report. I asked them many times but they didn’t respond as they wanted to charge me that money fraudulently.

Cons: When I have arrived to the airport to return the car , I didn’t find anyone to receive the car key, I made check in boarding then I returned back to the desk to return the key also I didn’t find anybody, I wasted my time with my family to find a way to return the car, finally I left the key in the desk and wrote paper with my contact number and parking number.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 130.00), Theft Protection, Airport surcharge, Third Party Liability (TPL), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory. Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: American Express, Diners, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card. Any other cards or cash payments are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Child seat (2-4 years of age).

It is allowed to add up to 3 additional drivers.
Additional charges will be applied.
Additional drivers must be present when picking up the vehicle.

Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
