Alpha car hire at Gold Coast Airport

Pros: The service is relatively efficient, however breaks down when there is a queue of more than 3 people

Cons: It's not particularly friendly, the check innis aggressive, the excess is unnecessarily high, the cars are in very poor condition.

Pros: The team on the phone is very rude

Cons: Lots of hidd no fees, be careful and read fine print carefully. Thy start with a cheap quote then add up fees after. If same fees will pay to other rental companies that you can pick up your car from. airport, so what is the benefit of get transfered to and from airport.

Cons: When we arrived we added myself as an extra driver $50 but when it came time for me to drive my husband who is 6ft was unable to sit in the passengers side as he was too tall. No one mentioned there was a high restriction in the MG for the passenger when this was mentioned at drop off no one was really that interested

Pros: Hi, I m seeking for refund , I tried there is not much option as It's Austria to Nz , as i could not have car from alpha the customer service representative was not helpful, he could not find that I have paid through trid party (discover cars ) he kept saying u have to pay full $250 and was not helpful, I ended up leaving that place , can I get help to get my money back which I paid on discover car

Pros: Alpha car gave us a very easy and best experience. The process was easy and quick. They also provide pick up and drop offs from airport free of cost. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend them.

Pros: Good price, cheaper price often means companies that rip you off for silly reasons, but not with this mob. I would recommend them anytime.

Cons: Easy To Deal with, However the car we got was not same but similar model. Also the Touch screen on car audio system was not workin which was not letting our smat phone connect to car, , We were asked go back and change the car next day we had to Top up the Fuel for that even tough we only use to go to hotel had to come back to return the car. There was not much option to upgrade car either. but finally we were able to change the car and had no issues after that

Pros: Easy rental. Car is in pristine condition. We hired a Hyundai i30 but for the love of me, couldn’t figure out Maps on the nav system. We had to use carplay or android so we can use Maps which Takes up battery on mobile when we’re out and about. Otherwise no issues with the car and Alpha.

Cons: It was difficult to discuss the fee of $59.08 charged to me as a customer by Discover Cars. The woman from Alpha I spoke to initially listened, but she appeared to grow frustrated with my insistence that the charge of $59.08 from Discover Cars was opaque and excessive. I told her that the charge reflected poorly on Alpha because there is a nexus between Alpha and Discover Cars. She did not appear persuaded by my argument.
