Picking up a vehicle After collecting your baggage, please phone 07721644925. The rental agent will ask for your name, confirm the terminal you have arrived at and give you instructions on where to meet the dedicated Arnold Clark shuttle bus. Our shuttle bus journey time from the terminals should take no longer than fifteen minutes. Below you can find more information on each dedicated pickup points for Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5. Terminal 2 As you exit arrivals, head towards the exit located near Nero Express and M&S Simply Food. Walk straight across car park level 1 following signs to Hilton Garden Inn. Pick-up point is at Row G next to the entrance of the Hilton Garden Inn. Terminal 3ю As you exit arrivals, follow signs to short stay car park 3, take the lift to level 3 and our pick-up point is on this level at the mini cab/private hire pick-up area Terminal 4 As you exit arrivals, head towards the exit doors next to Travelex Currency Exchange, walk across into the short stay car park on level 1 and follow signs to mini cab/private hire pick-up area. Terminal 5 As you exit arrivals, head towards the exit doors next to Caffé Nero, then use the lifts to arrive at the short stay car park level 2. The pick-up point is directly opposite the lifts at Row S.

Cons: Having to call on arrival - with overseas phone, had to pay high rate for call. Would have been convenient to be able to text. Prices were significantly more than all other providers but I chose Arnold Clark based on the outstanding trustpilot score and recommendation from a Brits group in Seattle.

Pros: Although the depot was not at Heathrow airport the instructions for the pick uo point were clear & easy to follow. From the time we were picked uo in the shuttle our experience was professional & friendly. This car was booked via Discover Cars & the pricing was very competitive for the vehicle provided.

Cons: Slightly lower marks for a small part of interior just inside the rer door behind the driver not being cleaned properly during the pre drive-away check, but the Arnold Clark representative noted this and was not an issue for us.

Pros: Arnold Clark were fantastic. Upon landing the shuttle picked us up within 15mins and the staff were ready for us. Upon seeing our cases would be too large for the original rental, they upgraded us free of charge. Very smooth process and everyone involved was friendly and helpful.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1810.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Road tax, Free modifications, State Tax.
Mileage policy
For rentals lasting from 1 days to 3 days, mileage is limited to 250 miles per day.
For rentals more than 3 days mileage is unlimited.
Details are available at the car rental company's reservation office.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 23 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 4 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, flight information.
Residents of the following country(ies): United Kingdom are required to present the following document(s): valid driver license, bank statement or utility bill, ID with photo in order to pick up the car.
The following document(s): bank statement or utility bill must not be older than 3 months. UK customers must bring their DVLA check code along with their photo ID. This check code can be obtained from the DVLA website.
UK residents that hold a non-UK licence may drive in the UK for up to 12 months from the time they become a resident. After 12 months, the overseas licence will be deemed illegal in the UK and it must be exchanged for the UK equivalent.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.

Deductible/excess will be charged per damage.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to leave the deposit only with following methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card. Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.
The following payment methods are accepted: Visa Debit Card, MasterCard debit card.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

It is allowed to add up to 4 additional drivers.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Please note that the rental company will check for any endorsements or penalties (traffic offenses or penalty points) on renter's driver license and that renter may be refused the car if there have been any in the last 5 years.

Winter tires are recommended during the winter season but are not mandatory.
Snow chains are allowed in icy/snowy conditions.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 28 days. If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 30 minutes.
