A small, efficient car rental company, Auto Rent’s offices can be found in the Portuguese city of Faro, the capital and largest city of the southern region of Algarve, one of the country’s main tourist hubs, and the smaller beach town of Praia da Rocha. this was the town where Auto Rent began in 1976, though under a different name. From the start, the company focuses on providing rental cars to tourists visiting the Algarve region. The original owner led the business until 2011.
Auto Rent is one of the highest-rated car rental companies in Portugal, receiving constantly impressive marks from the clients of DiscoverCars.com. The company has won our Excellent Car Rental Service Award for multiple years in a row for its Faro Airport location.
By law, all of Auto Rent’s cars have Via Verde transponders so you can pay for toll roads that are electronically tolled (don’t have booths). The company charges a small fee for using it/
