Pros: Quite friendly

Cons: The collection point was not as stated at the departure area it was in the petrol station across from the terminal and the car was not full of fuel as stated but 5/8 of a tank to be returned the same and the car was not a new model as it had over 108,000kms on the clock and the car was making some weird noises underneath

Cons: Without doubt the worst experience I've encountered over 30+ years renting cars. The car itself had many issues including no working interior light and the inability to engage reverse gear at times. I overlooked all these and thought Autorent would give me some goodwill when I returned the car with a mirror missing. Oh no, they stung me with a £150 charge .. complete rip-off!

Pros: Took a lot of running around to find the pick up place for transfer. When we eventually got to car hire place the car was damaged in various places. We asked for a parcel shelf as we were going to store our luggage in the car for some of the trip. We were told that there wasn't one and booking got cancelled. Would ever use again

Pros: Nice people, especially the first who was welcoming us after we left the airport, fast and professional document’s filling. Very positive attitude to guests, very polite and friendly. Car was clean and it was very important for us, since we really take car about our cars in Poland. Return of the car was also professional and in very friendly atmosphere. The person who was driving us to the airport was as friendly as the first man who we met. 5 stars ;)

Cons: car had cracked wing mirror etc which AutoRent didn't think was even an issue! They also try everything to add on "cleaning" costs which is unreasonable compared with other car providers in Cyprus. Wouldn't use or recommend again as an independent travel agent! Avoid!

Cons: When we artived they let us wait for 2.30 hours to give us the car and the car they gave us was demaged. On the second day it didn't start. They took a verly long tome to come and see whats wrong with the car. Then finally they changed the car but still the new car was not in good shape the windows would not go down. We paid for the gps and it did not work. The people at the office were very rude and didn't give us money back for the gps. Don't think about renting a car from autorent.

Rude people, we paid for a service which we didn’t get.we arrived at 1am to pick up the car at 3.30am was still there as all the cars had some Damage. when talking to them nicely they shout at you. We rented a gps for 70 euro and they gave us one that didn’t work. We told them and they said they dont have another one to replace it. We asked for the money back they didn’t give it back. My advice to anyone who is about to rent a car is to run away as fast as they can from that company.

Cons: They charged my card with almost 400€ without any information after i left cyprus. When i asked about it, they said there were damages on the car after inspection... They give you junk cars and charge you with hidden damages.

On arrival asked again, said the one they have was going to be rented the next day and can't have it, even though the vehicle booked was a higher group. We didn't mind the cheaper swap but noway. Then on return/ drop off the Fabia was there in the yard, but the person who had hired it had put diesel in!!!!!!, now it didn't work. So that was justice for not letting us have it. Cons: The quality of their rental stock leaves much to be desired. I had three different cars during the week and none of the three were 100%. #1 had a brake issue - severe vibration and rumbling coming down steep hills, #2 the 12v supply in the car didn't work for my GPS, #3 - which was an upgrade had a severe hesitation between gears, wipers squeaked and it needed new wiper blades. All three cars had more than 100k Km and were in a pretty poor condition.

Cons: No representative at the airport. After several telephone conversations with Autorent, we learned that there were a lot of customers and we had to wait for someone to come to pick us up. Waiting time at the airport 1.5 hours. The total time from landing the plane to receiving the vehicle is approximately 2.5 hours. In addition, a very high deposit (EUR 800) despite purchasing full insurance.

Cons: Rental was supposed to be full to full for fuel, but there was under a quarter of a tank when I picked the car up. It's nearly impossible to return the car with the same level of fuel, and you risk having to pay extra if they have to add fuel to top up.

Pros: The staff were really friendly, the car was good and the price was by far the best. I would definitely use autorent again. The car wasnt in perfect condition to begin with which I think alleviates some of the pressure when driving.

They refused to come out and swap the car at our hotel and very hard to deal with when trying to complain. A partial refund wasn’t even offered. Terrible.

His stories were hugely exaggerated about training with the SAS. It was as if he was trying to impress my daughter! The car provided was old (2014)and the brake lights failed. Although the mechanic resolved the issue, they failed again and went off completely. The car also had a headlight out. Car only 1/2 full of fuel on collection.

Cons: The plane was on time, they should have been waiting for me but I waited at the airport 1:30 hours before they picked me up (just me because my family didn’t fit in the shuttle). In the meantime I called them 3 times. After getting the car I had to go back after my family.

Pros: Nice people. Nice car. Pretty smooth experience. No hidden fees. I accidentally ordered the wrong car and they were very nice and upgraded me to an automatic with no extra charge. I forgot to return the keys and they were really nice about that too, they helped me to arrange the return.

Cons: There is one person both manning the rental and chauffering back and forth from the airport. Pickup and dropoff times were very long for this reason. You need to weigh whether it is worth it to spend an extra 30-60 minutes on each end of your trip in order to save money. I think I would do it again as it was NOT stressful dealing with this company. But it's a factor to consider.

Car wasn't the one I booked, had lots of dents and scratches, only had less than 1/4 tank fuel in it, they told me to fill it up on my way to Hotel, arriving at 10.30 pm in the dark and being my first time in Cyprus, it wasn't a good experience finding a fuel station that was manned. Car made squeaking noises when driving. BE AWARE, when you plan your itinerary in advance. They don't allow you to drive their cars off road, must be on tarmac roads only.

Cons: First of all the real name of the rental agency is Autorent M. C. and there are very mixed reviews about this company. I have booked a Kia Piccanto with manual gearbox, but received a very old (more than 10 year old) Suzuki Alto with automatic gearbox and 660 cm3 engine. If you put the Suzuki and the Kia side by side, it is clear that the two cars have a significant difference not just by age but by size as well. Worst car I have ever driven. Many visible damage, hand painted on rust.

Pros: Łatwość i czas obsługi oraz cena.Nie było problemów z odbiorem auta pomimo opóźnienia samolotu .Auto trochę inne niż zamawiałem ale ogólnie prowadziło się bardzo dobrze. Pomimo opcji full to full otrzymałem połowę zbiornika ale z taka sama ilością miałem zwrócić. Żadnych problemów.

Cons: I had to return the first one because the lighter didn't work (impossible to use GPS on the phone). I've been told the tank was full but was fake. And the second one was ok but the driver wiper was dead (that was very dangerous).

Pros: Poor. The car it should be on the road as rear boot was u/s and passenger door was not locking. I spent 2 hours going round garages with a company rep but no joy of fixing the door locking mechanism as the part it was too expensive €250. I spent 10 days worrying that the car will be stolen.

Cons: The car was not up to standards. The boot was not operational and I was informed by the agent. Also it was the only car apparently available so didn’t really had a choice. When eventually arrive at my destination I discover that the passenger door was not locking either. I contacted the office and mention the problem but again no car available to exchange. I was then contacted by a member of the car rental company only to be advice that I need to drive to a specific area in Limassol to fix it.
