Despite its Italian-sounding name, this car rental company can be found not in Italy on the Appenine Peninsula, but instead in the Gulf state of the United Arab Emirates. There, it serves the popular tourist destinations that are the cities of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, having an office at Dubai International and Abu Dhabi International Airports, as well as in several downtown hotels and locations.
The company has a wide range of vehicles to choose from. This includes small compact cars all the way to passenger vans. The company is also focussing on increasing the sustainability of its fleet by adding electric vehicles, mainly the Rabban One which is made in the UAE.
Autostrand does allow its vehicles to be taken to Oman if visiting that country is on your itinerary. Keep in mind that they charge an extra fee for that, though, and you’ll need to get permission from the company beforehand.
