Pros: The service was appalling. The car was dirty (not cleaned after last use). The manager did offer to clean it but we'd already had to wait 20 minutes and wanted to get on our way. It was badly damaged by previous users. When I asked if we could have a discount for this the manager said "what's with this attitude, its driveable isn't it". Really quite aggressive. On return, there was no one at the desk. We waited for half an hour and then ended up handing the keys to Hertz. Very poor experience.

Cons: Currently claiming the car has new scratches, which it doesn't. Overcharged (20Euros extra that was not provisioned otherwise) Made us wait in the rain even though the queue was done and we were in the rental car window Attendant on drop-off tried to claim dirt on hubcap as scratches (we just wiped it off) Did not receive SUV as booked - now that the provider is claiming there are new scratches they have admitted that the car that was provided was not in the same category as the one we booke

Cons: team in Dubrovnik was not informed of the drop of requirements at the split office (i was charged 30eur to drop of the car after hours while the Dubrovnik team told me it would not cost me anything). the audio system in the car did not work (usb in the sound system was not able to power the phone) the quality and condition of the car was much poorer then competition there were additional charges for taking car outside of croatia costs of which were not mentioned in the rental agreement

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, First additional driver, Additional driver, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 900.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Winter tires, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 21.

There is no maximum age.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 76.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
At the time of pick up customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Maestro, Diners, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.
Debit cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.

Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, European Union, North Macedonia.
Using a ferry is allowed on the previous request and for an additional charge with special permission from the car rental company.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
Underage additional drivers are also subject to a young driver fee.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

During winter season (from 15.11 until 15.04) Winter tires are included in price.

The first additional driver is allowed free of charge.
Additional charges will be applied.
Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee. Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.11 to 15.04.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
