Pros: Location at the port perfect and easy to find. Staff was nice and very helpful, also helped with putting childseat in the car. Was an easy rental. Spoke perfect English, I'd highly recommend. Car was the one we asked for so another plus.

Cons: The fuel 6/8 at pick up i count the bars when putting fuel and was 6 we got to office was 5, it's hard to put exact fuel that way, fortunately was only €15 for the one bar but I wouldn't bother to go to gas station I'd knew. I prefer full to full it's easier for the driver to just fuel up! I ordered 2 seats online but in the office was only one but a quick call solved it and we could pick up second one from another office next to the airport.

Pros: It was quick

Cons: 1. Rude staff at the desk. 2. Policy to get the car vaccumed from inside before returning. The staff also pointed out to a fuel pump where we should go. 3. Intially they charged me a lesser amount and then asked me to pay more (which was in line with discover cars invoice). Upon asking why there was a difference, he made sure to charge me first and then explained to me that discover cars had charged me for one extra day but he can not help it because i chose discover cars.

Pros: Car was ready when we arrived. Pick up and drop off were very straightforward - right at Santorini port across from where you get on and off the ferry. Car was in reasonable condition.. quite a few bumps and scrapes on the exterior, but this is common for cars on the island. No issues with return. Deposit released quickly. Car was provided with 5/8 of a tank of fuel which is a bit tricky to measure when topping off at the end, but (again), not that unusual for car hires in Greece / the islands!

Cons: Did not provide a written damage report -- instructed us to take a video / photos at pick-up and said this would be used as basis for assessment at the end. We had no issues on return as there was no additional damage.. but this felt like it put quite a lot of pressure on us to do the inspection and it was a bit unusual not to walk around the car together with the agent to ensure that all pre-existing damages were mutually agreed and documented.

Rental Conditions

Rate includes

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, First additional driver, Additional driver, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 700.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Premium Location fee, Free modifications, State Tax.

Driver requirements

Minimum rental age is 23 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): Australia, Canada, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Northern Ireland, Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA, EU countries.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.

Deposit and deductible policy

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.

Payment policy

At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Diners, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.

Maestro, Cash, Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).

Optional extras and services

Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

The first additional driver is allowed free of charge. Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.

Fuel policy

The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

Additional information

Winter tires are not mandatory in Greece.

Rental period

The maximum rental period is without limitations.

Business hours

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
