Pros: The car was good, the drop-off process was smooth

Cons: I was 10 min later than the working hour due to the late arrival of the flight. They were there and busy with the other customers but charged me 50 EUR. They didn't accept debit cards from Visa because it should be explicitly written on the card as 'Debit'. I had to pay 70 EUR for the additional driver.

Cons: Discovercars is offering a carinsurance that isn't communicated with Autowill so the representative expected us to pay for double insurances or deposit 700 euros. We chosed the deposit but thought amount was to high. The car was brand new but the Opel Corsa had an underdimensioned AC-system so the cupé never went cool, though we were driving for more than 1 hour. But that's not on Autowill, that's on Opel.

Pros: This was the most disappointing hire we have had. The car wasn’t cleaned, the fuel gage on complete empty and a warning light on about lights not working, we spoke to the agent and she made a call to someone, the response was the car is fine, put petrol in yourselves - fine but we are now returning it with more fuel than it started with which is a waste of money for us. Once we started driving it, we had more warning lights…. Tyre pressure and driveshaft, it hindered the capacity to accelerate

Cons: Tried to call but response was rubbish. Wanted to raise it at drop off but at 9.30am (dropped the car off early) nobody there! Also used the car less because of the issues with it which hindered our trip.

Pros: Call from representative to discuss Adblue warning light receiving quickly. However unable to resolve or refund me the cross border fee.

Cons: Long queue to collect car, not clean but tidy. Warning light regarding Adblue ruined our plans to cross border. Awaiting a reply from Autowill about a refund for the cross border fee. Office not in main airport arrivals, this was not made clear, no signage directing you to the office, but once we found it it wasn’t far.

Cons: Hard sell for extra insurance (even though we were had full coverage with Discovery) and very quick to pick up damage. Generally stressful around insurance. Unexpected extra payment for taking car to one of the islands in Croatia.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Mileage: 3000 km per rental, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1300.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Road tax, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications, State Tax.
Rate excludes
The following surcharges may apply: Accident Administration fee, Administrative fee.
During the winter season (from 01.11 until 15.04) Winter tires are not included in the price but will be added to it as a mandatory additional charge of 50.00 EUR per rental.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 21.

Maximum rental age is 80 years.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 70.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off. A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon collecting the vehicle.
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Written permission from the rental company is required.
Information on the exact fee amount is available by request.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

Using a ferry is allowed on the previous request and for an additional charge with special permission from the car rental company.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Cross border fee.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Additional charges will be applied.
Fuel policy
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon pick up.
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.11 to 15.04.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas. For vehicles not returned in an acceptable clean condition, an additional charge of 18.75 EUR will apply.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge. Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
