Pros: Dropping the car off the agent was very efficient

Cons: Waited an hour to even get the car as there were only 2 staff and a long queue. They also wouldn't accept my credit card as it didn't seem to work in there machine. Leaving me with no other option other than my debit card and American express. They didn't accept American express and asked to use the debit card. To which they said I'd have to take out their excess insurance of over £200. I said I didn't want this as I had already taken out excess insurance with Discover. Shocking service

Pros: The apologies in the end

Cons: I rented online a small car but got the biggest car of their fleet since there were no small cars available. They tried to ‘sell’ it to me as a free upgrade but I was only thinking of more fuel costs, more danger to hit something or to be hit. There was not enough oil in the car which could have caused dangerous situations. Also there was no window liquid available. I was told that I could have used water instead of the official detergent as Croatia is not a country where it snows regularly.

Pros: Really friendly and helpful agent at pickup and drop-off. Also, had to change our rental and come back early and they corresponded via email and Whatsapp really quickly and efficiently. We also got a refund back on the unused days of rental. Would definitely be happy to hire with them again.

Cons: Their kiosk was a little hard to find as it was just off the airport and not where the rest of the car hire places were - the instructions said it was right out front with the others. It was about 500 metres out the airport and down the road. Once you knew where it was dead easy though. Collecting the car took a little longer as the computer wasn't working properly.
