Pros: Picked up the car in the night but luckily took a video with poor light. In the contract the agent showed one damage. When I did the video there were multiple scratches.

Cons: When I went to drop off , I did tell the agents that I was told only one damage was reported by the agent and all the others were not. They did seem to debate about it for some time and then finally said it was all okay. It would have been good if they had a contract with them to see what was signed up .

Cons: The staff when drop off was rude, we had been asked to present the paper of contract but we did not bring along. She said we should bring along the documents !all the time ! This is first time we had been asked to present the contract when drop off car. The drop off experience was really bad the staff and my friend along back and forth argue.

Podem não ter tido tempo para entregar o carro sem fazer uma limpeza geral exterior e interior, mas gostaríamos de ter recebido o carro limpo por dentro e por fora. Não nos entregaram um documento no final, comprovando a entrega impecável do carro, tal como haviam feito, quando fizémos o levantamento e julgo que deveriam ter feito esse documento/ comprovativo. De resto, recomendo vivamente.

Cons: Make sure you give them the most precise arrival time! Arrived to the desk 2hr later than expected. Personel il place was a bit mad about it and had already gave my reservation to someone else. Had to pay about double to get a upscale car with a slipping clutch but was practicaly new otherwise. Please try yo be a bit more considerate with travellers at the end of an realy long journey...

When I received the keys IN THE PARKING, they had no solution and wanted ME, TO LEAVE MY FAMILY AND DRIVE ALONE TO A STORE TO BUY MYSELF A BABY SEAT IN A CITY I DON'T KNOW, blaming Discovercars had messed up and it wasn't their problem. Only on car rejection, they found a baby seat from another company.

Cons: As per booking code DC-4437050 I booked SUV Volkswagen T-Cross or similar on January 12, 2023. For total amount of $1660.15 or 1.125 euros. When I came to pick up my vehicle, they at Zagreb airport prepared for me KIA XCeed which is Sedan, not SUV. They didn’t have any SUV to offer me, so I had to take AUDI Q2, because of limited time (17:30),I needed to reach Vinkovci (300 km) before night time. They charged me with extra 480 euros, 400 euros for upgrade and 80 euros for GPS which I didn’t get.

I booked the car but intended for only my husband to drive the car in Croatia, we had to pay the additional driver fee (I think was 75 Euro) even though I didn’t want to drive. Make sure you book in the name of the person who will be driving

Pros: Our flight was delayed but the Avia rental agent willingly stayed late to see us through our pick up. The car was superb, one of the best I've rented. I normally drive on the other side of the road but this little beauty handled the variable conditions in Croatia extrmely well. The drop off was simple and friendly. I would highly recommend Avia to anyone. and we'll be looking out for them in future rentals.

Also, they charge €35 service charge to refill gas tank on top of the gas itself. On the end, I paid additional €115 for services that 99% of other car rentals do not charge. Enough to never book again with them and stick to other companies.

Pros: It's easy to find the Avia counter in the terminal, we waited a bit for the representative. Once it arrived, everything went quickly. We extended insurance through Avia. We received a car that we ordered, in excellent condition, clean. Our trip was to Slovenia and we informed the rental company about this in advance and we were required to pay a fee of 80 €.Back at the airport, we got confused with the signage for the car return location, but the representative was patient and waited for us.

Pros: Not good. There was nobody at the kiosk when we were picking up the car. Also nobody there when we were returning it. It would have been nice if they at least had a note on the door indicating when they would be back and where they were.

Which we were not prepared for and got hit with a big international fee. This was confusing as he quoted our insurance in euros prior to us paying. Incredible huge amount (900 euro) take as deposit despite having take Discovery car full insurance (this deposit 'blocked half of my Credit on my Visa card) Lot of scratches on the car (far more than the one listed on the 'state of the car document' - so pick up check is taking time. GPS was not the one promised.

Cons: AVIA car rental did not credit deposit to my credit card. There was no damage or any issues with the car however, refundable deposit was not credited. Please help me get refundable credit back to my credit card. Other then this problem, eental was good.

Cons: The car we booked was a 'full size car' but what we were presented with an Opel crossland 1.2 When I complained that it was not a 'Full size' they said it was to them ! Proper scam . Eventually they agreed to replace the car with a VW T roc like was in the adversing picture

Pros: Simple process and worked OK. They do hold a large deposit somake sure your card can take the hit. Deposit refunded within 2 days on return so was happy.

Cons: Make sure when you book you get the correct drop off and pick up time on form, I had not and was charged extra. My only other dislike is that the car had to be full of fuel on return and filled up car on last stop on toll road so fuel level went down a bit to 3/4 full and they charged 200 kuna which was a bit overpriced as it only took 488 kuna to fill to full. Did question this but he said it would be more if went through the books.

Cons: They suddenly changed payment policy at desk, they dont want to give me the car unless I pay additional insurance wich none was required few days ago when i rented first time from them.

Cons: 1. Renting car in the middle of the winter season and charging extra 30eur for winter tyres is pure ripp off. Although technically legislation allows?! sommer tyres with chains it is insane praxis which provider should not use as excuse to squeeze extra money from customers. 2. Selling(renting) higher class car and than deliver lover class car at pick up is unproffesional behaviour and in particular case difference could not be justified with "or similar" car.

Cons: Fees for using the car in a ferry and fees for crossing a boarder have been applied(€50 and €80). This was not communicated before renting the car. Awful service. The car rental agent attitude was a disaster. Arrogant, making me feel stupid about not knowing about extra fees. You take advantage of people not knowing about renting a car. We are not experts and you take advantage of that. The whole process was only to adding more and more fees and getting more and more money from me!!

Cons: The whole experience with the AVIA rental car company was poor. They did not wait on me on arrival to Zagreb 07/17/2021, as promised. Had to wait on them to arrive after I had to call them. They denied my American Express card as the payment for this rental even if I had pay to you deposit with this card, they denied unlimited milage and gave me less than 2000 miles driving milage and requested additional payment if I drive more than that. Very pushy and demanding in both receiving and dropping
