Pros: friendly agent, helpful assistance for drop off and given a car that was extremely comfortable.
Cons: My flight got in earlier than expected and I got to the Avis area earlier than planned (an hour earlier). Avis charged me an extra fee for the early pick-up and the agent had a hard time explaining why it was being charged. I was told that the charge would eventually be taken off but the agent just could not provide a clear explanation of the process and I had nothing in writing about this. I don't yet see the charge, so perhaps it was not made. If it is, I will dispute it.
Pros: I didn't.
Cons: Toll charges were insane. I reached out to Discover/Avis prior to my rental and asked about how tolls work in a rental car. They gave me a super detailed response, so I felt comfortable using the toll transponder the rental vehicle came with. Turns out, the transponder is NOT like an E-ZPass. You get charged the same as toll-by-plate PLUS a service fee! What's the point of having the transponder?

It is possible to purchase prepaid tolls.
An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees.
A Young driver fee is not applied.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
The driver license must be written in Roman alphabet.
Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver Permit (IDP). Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, booking voucher, return flight ticket.
