So I had to make a quick decision to drive it to the nearest counter that’s at the airport to get a car swop. It was near closing time. A close shave! I wish the support had been better when things go wrong.

The representative I handed the keys to did not conduct an inspection of the car even though the car was a few metres from his van parked in the same parking lot. The damage was allegedly a chip in the windscreen (in the middle) which neither I nor my partner noticed. Not impressed. The car also had some mechanical issues.

Warning message on whole 2,600Km trip Probably associated with the need for a service the connectivity between my Samsung 20 and the console kept dropping out, disabling Google sat nav. Needed to reboot (re-start engine) to regain connectivity. The phone was fully engaged so not a phone issue.

And we paid for worry free insurance ( the rental company claimed was a third party, how should I know? We paid $15 for onsite assistant to avoid any trouble, but later the staff said it doesn't cover windscreen. I understood as that $15 help us to bridge the gap between the 3rd party insurer and the rental company.

Boot configuration completely unsuitable for our noted needs! Couldn't even fit 2 regular sized suitcases! Staff need to actually read the notes BEFORE assigning vehicles and actually check the boot sizes/configurations! I'd done my research - would have been nice to have been taken notice of!

Cons: First off all there was no seperate queue for people who have done their pre check in (ie submitted all necessary documents before even landing at the airport) But still had to wait for 3 hrs at airport (more than 2.5 hours after the scheduled pick up time) to pick up the car, just because the car was not ready. The rental car agency was just blaming it on multiple reasons including other travellers returning the car late. Totally do not understand why we should have to suffer because of that.

Cons: 3 staff were working including the manager. they were rude. no discipline at all. one of them was showing his over-smartness. they lack the skills to deal with tourists. I booked a Mitsubishi and they gave me a Nissan. all three were arguing that both are the same cars. they acted like a pack of unskilled untrained newbies. the head office should transfer them somewhere else and provide them with BootCamp training on customer service.

Pros: Easy pick up and drop off and good car

Cons: GPS - was outdated and couldnt use from day one. However, kind enough to refund the GPB charges CAR - I was expecting Nissan Xtrail but got a car with smaller boot space and couldnt fit my two check-in bags. They tried to get alternate car but I dont wanted to pay anymore.

Cons: Vehicle interior (e.g. Air conditioning full of dusk with filthy air particles blown out. Car seats and car boot were stained.) cleanliness could be further improved.

Cons: Hard to get into the correct lane for drop off and got ripped off $10 just to drive through Avis carpark, which was disappointing.

Pros: When dropping off the car there was an attendant who took our keys in the car park.

Cons: Clearly, it has become a popular choice however there were not enough people to manage the surge of customers. We waited to pick up the car keys for approximately 35 minutes and then the car was not ready and we had to wait additional time, which turned out to be relatively short.

Cons: They have yet to refund my deposit of AUD500

Pros: Booking online & completing the online checking made the process very easy. Insurance options were easy to understand so the right choice could be made online.

Cons: Staff were very professional. The line was very long to pick up but staff remained calm. If I was to make any suggestions it would be to consider a question for people pre booked & paid as it was a 1.5hr wait for a 5 minute check in appossed to those needing to complete all paperwork. The purpose of pre booking car & insurance & paying online is to speed up the process. That is my suggestion but overall happy with the process

Cons: The wait to collect the car was annoying, after a flight you just want to get going and start your holiday. Saying that it was about30 minutes so not too bad.
