Bargain Car Rentals at Sunshine Coast Airport

Pros: No mirror on either driver or passenger that’s the most basic to have

Pros: Good location at Maroochydore, staff are always really friendly and helpful, cars are easy to find and in great condition.

Cons: It takes a long time to get thru the queue to pick up car. The counter is very small so not a lot can be done I’m guessing.

Pros: Argued about extra insurance told well you should have booked direct. Car had marks dents all over, sand on front seat.

Cons: Very disappointed. When we made a fuss about already paying extra insurance they dismissed us as being difficult. We’re going to show us to car but then just handed us the key.

Cons: unable to reverse your sniky arrangement with the insurance which is very important, never again will I rent a vehicle from you and will advise my friends of what happened. I have rented cars and trucks over the past 30 odd years and have never encounted a scam like this. Not Happy.

Cons: They took a $500 deposit (which I wasn’t aware was needed) at the start of the rental period, despite my having taken out separate car insurance. Then they refunded the deposit a few days prior to the end of the rental period. This made me confused as to why the deposit was needed in the first place. But everyth8 g else was fine - really good!

Pros: The male service agent took his time in giving us a vehicle that was pre-booked and deposit paid. Asked stupid questions about if we paid for insurance, which would of been on the screen in front of him. He also haggled about paying extra for an upgrade starting at $10 a day and then dropping to $7-50 a day.

Pros: Great service. Didn’t have the car we booked available (but explained why) and gave us a bigger car - so no complaints here (even if it was the geekiest car ever). We had a wheelchair so had they given us a smaller car, it would have been an issue for us. Car was practically brand new and drove beautifully. Staff were brilliant and there weren’t long queues for collection. Collecting the car was super quick and easy.
