Bargain Rental Cars
Not to be confused with another rental car company, this Bargain operates in New Zealand (the other company has offices in several locations across Australia). The company has been operating for over 25 years and is wholly owned by Kiwis (New Zealanders).
In New Zealand, it serves the nation’s largest city, Auckland, where it serves its international airports and several other locations across it, the city of Christchurch of New Zealand’s South Island, and the capital Wellington. The company offers one-way rentals, including between the islands at times (though for an additional fee). Bargain has a full range of vehicles to choose from from small economy cars all the way up to passenger vans and minibuses.
The company is highly rated by our customers and has, in fact, won our Excellent Car Rental Service Award for its downtown Christchurch and Wellington Airport locations.
Bargain only accepts credit cards for leaving the security deposit. If you don’t have a credit card, you’ll have to purchase additional coverage in order to be able to use a debit card.
