Pros: After turning in the car they said we caused “damage”. The picture they submitted is of a bunch of crumbs and on the seat from our children. That’s not damage. They charged us 30 Euros. All this was done after we left without explaining it to us while we were there. What a scam of an operation.

Pros: not very much

Cons: A tire failed because of a break in the sidewall. They charged a total of almost $300 for it and $125 of that was an administrative fee. Also the car was returned 3 weeks early for zero refund even though the original car was out of circulation and therefore they did not lose anything by me cancelling early.

Pros: I accidently book a car on wrong airpprt (60km distance). They told me that they are unable to arrange that I collwct a car here, and that if I wpnt collect a cat in next 4 hours the booking will be cancelled. Aldough I have pait for whole 7 days. I was very unpleasent that they or the guy on Discover Cars with whom I was on telephone line and spend 50eur for a phone call could not help me with my issue. Also I had to pay extra 75eur to retun a car on different airport. Very upleasent experience

Cons: Customer support, no flexibility. It was hard to contact any support.

Pros: The vehicle was new and clean, in very good condition.

Cons: The insurance they asked in order to reduce the 3000€ amount of collateral was too expensive and I had it already covered but you didn't inform the company. I could not remember what I've reserved months ago... So it made me spend 140€ more than I should... I think things could be managed differently.

Pros: Budget said that the booking had been cancelled by DiscoverCars.com, not themselves, supposedly because of our late arrival for pick-up (but still the same afternoon), and that they could do nothing about it. They apologized, and provided an alternative vehicle, albeit at cost. I was well treated by the Desk staff, and satisfied with the replacement vehicle, though I shouldn't have needed to rent it.

Cons: I used the phone number provided by Discover & Budget, & other calls/web contact to try and warn of our 6-hour delay in arrival for pick-up (well in advance), but failed to get through on every occasion. They need to be contactable. I also submitted the online early check-in for the rental, which surely provided proof of my intent to rent the vehicle. Budget staff said that this is by no means the first time this problem has arisen with DiscoverCars. Why hasn't something been done about it?

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 2000.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 99 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Cross-border policy
It is forbidden to cross country borders.
Using a ferry is allowed on the previous request and for an additional charge with special permission from the car rental company.
Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 30 minutes.
