Cons: - agent lied about tolls to push "toll pass" activation fee, I know this to be 100% true cause I asked about going to Key West, FL and the agent said no way to get there without paying a toll, which turned out to be a false statement. you can drive to Key West using route 1 without paying a toll fee - agent potentially lied about mandatory TPL insurance requirement, and had me add expensive $100/day insurance during pickup

Pros: The shuttle to/from the Miami airport was very efficient.

Cons: We were given an unsafe car to drive despite expressing concern over the check engine light. The property liability insurance requirement of $300K was extremely excessive.

Pros: This was the worst experience I’ve had renting a car. The requirement of 300k property management liability is unheard of. The car I received smelled like smoke and had the tire light on. The rental agent dismissed my concerns by saying I drive a better car at home and these cars have “sensitive sensors”. They didn’t even go take a look at the car. We had to drive with that car because they didn’t have any more cars for the night.

Cons: The shuttle was late, the line was very long, and when I got to the front, they told me it was my fault and charged me three times the amount agreed.

Cons: The service was poor. We were unable to get in touch with the car company due to it being “out of office hours” so had to spend money on a taxi to the car rental place to pick the car up. The car provided was old, rattled like something was about to fall off and I’m surprised it actually got us to our destinations! I would not recommend or use this company again

Cons: The depots were not conveniently located to airport, I had to take a lyft to pick up and from drop off because they either didn’t have a shuttle driver or the shuttle was just a small car and couldn’t fit everyone waiting. They did not clearly explain how the sun pass activation worked so I was charged $15 a day for activation plus tolls rather then a one time $15 fee and tolls as it was explained to me. The car air filter made the whole car smell mildewed and sour.

Cons: Gave us a car with multiple mechanical problems. Didn’t realize it until we were 3 hours away at our destination. Nobody would give us any compensation for this. All we were told was that it would be fine when we called. Worst experience ever!

Cons: Scummy business tries to add on as many extra charges as possible. They didn't want to accept my insurance so that they could try to make me pay an extra $50 a day for that. I had my mom add me to her insurance which was on their approved list and then they charge a $10 per day "Claim Management" fee for not using their insurance. The price that they quote you when booking is definitely not the price that you will end up paying. I'd definitely recommend sticking with a legit car rental agency.

Cons: The rate we were given online was not what we were charged. There were multiple additional charges added when we arrived to pick up the cars. The cars we were given were not clean and were in terrible condition. We rented 2 cars one of the ones they tried to rent us didn't even have seat belts in the back. They replaced that car with a filthy car that had a cracked windshield and multiple other issues.

I had my flight delayed and called them to make sure my to let them know about the delay. Their phone service is not working and email they never reply. I still have not got reply back yet. Worst experience ever, never ever book with discovercars and carwiz.

Cons: Carwiz and discover cars work together to fool people. I went to pieck up the car and they told me i get chargeed 50 dollar for late pick up due to flight delay even if i informed them before. The price is not what you see on your booking. They charge you to use your own insurance. I had booked car with 100 dollar in total and invoice they showed me is 300 dollar. Its a total rip-off. Discover cars and carwiz work is a total scam ripoff. Their office is so dirty.

Cons: it was just a lot of false advertising, so I ended up spending twice as much money as I was told I would have to, there was all these different fees that I had to pay for a little things that weren’t even spoken of or explained even slightly.

Cons: The company gave us a dangerous car which is being repaired right now. The tires were continuously deflating, plus timing belt error code, oil left with 5% life, and the car would not start after refuel. We used the car to commute to work and rented it for over 17 days. We informed the company about the issues, and they did not care. Carwitz/COLUSA also refuses to communicate with us now, for a compensation. Worst experience ever. Do not rent at COLUSA/Carwitz. They make fun out of people.
