Pros: it was a very good car that handled well all the hairpin turns, powerful enough for the mountain roads of crete, the backup camera was really appreciated when reversing. all of which made driving a pleasure. after 10days driving in dusty crete, the car was quite dirty and . but they didn't even comment on it.
Cons: i had to call carwiz to find out about the shuttle pickup location. they had a whatsapp number but didn't respond to text messages or whatsapp calls. not a big deal but i requested a drop-off at my hotel after returning the car. they were only willing to drop me on the main road about 5mins walk away. it's just a bit of a hassle since i had luggage.

Cons: It took over an hour at the port for the meet and greet. Called numerous times. No answer. Several other couples were waiting for Car Wizz to a show up. No calls or emails to let us know what was going on. Then it took over an hour to get the car once at the desk. The drop off was also a horrendous ordeal. Poor information on who to drop it off. Called and got wrong info. The car was great but they have to work out their pick up and drop off informations. All the other rentals 15 minutes

Pros: Overall very good service
Cons: Needed more specific location on where Carwiz rep would be at Heraklion Port and that he would have on a purple shirt. We spent 30 minutes trying to find him.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 800.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium Location fee, State Tax.

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.

The following payment methods are accepted: Cash, Debit cards, Prepaid cards.
Additional insurance (Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW)) must be purchased if using the following payment method(s): Debit cards.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).

Using a ferry is allowed on the previous request and for an additional charge with special permission from the car rental company.
