Pros: Everything.

Cons: It took me over 2hrs to collect the car at pick-up location.

Cons: I waited like almost 2 hours to pick up the car. Terrible long, in front of me was only few people.

Pros: I had two pay for two new tires because I had a problem with a leaking tire from the first day until I stopped at a tire shop and I was told that, that tire couldn’t be fixed because it was at the beginning of the side wall and they can’t just replace one tire. Needs to be pairs, I understand. That cost me $200,..€ and the rental agency refused to give me the money back for the tires

Pros: All rental agents at the garage were great both during pick up and return

Cons: Shuttle service let them down, I waited 40 minutes at the airport while other rental companies passed two or three times, same during return to airport the bus was already full but had to wait about ten minutes before the driver decided to take us

Cons: The people are nice. New location, much harder to reach. It was so crowded that a nice employee had to stop incoming traffic so, I could leave through the entrance. Just impossible to leave because exit is unreachable, unless you got a levitating, turn on a dime, flying car. Car was a C3... I rented a Juke, (much better and larger car) So, was downgraded for FREE ;-(

Cons: The Provider didn't give me the car that I rent for , did give me one inferior and charge me 10 Euros for gas when he can't prove that he have 85% of Gas , even doing the mat as the provider wants don't give 85% of gas will give 87.5%.

Cons: Não gostei e não recomendo: - demora na realização do shuttle; - péssimo atendimento virtual; - cobrança de taxas (mesmo que devolvidas depois) sem aviso, caso em que, se alguém estiver com o limite do cartão contado, certamente terá problemas; - Na marcação agendei horário para devolução às 6h40, mas a empresa não abre esse horário, só abre às 7h, de modo que ficiu tudo muito corrido. Precisam melhorar o atendimento cliente.

Cons: They gave us a majorly dented car, they quoted it as "minor damage" making me think they may try to pin the blame on us later. No other automatic vehicles available to switch out so we took it.

Pros: I saw plenty of negative reviews about Centauro so I was hesitant to rent with them… but I was very surprised on the quality of the service and how it was easy and friendly to rent a car with them. I will rent again with them without hesitation!

Cons: No shuttle other than the airport one so i grabbed an uber The address listed was not up to date, i ended up going at the wrong spot. Then they ask you to take a waiting number, i waited 3 hours outside of my pickup time. I was starving, the staff seemed stressed and anxious. It was horrible.

Cons: They had us wait for close to an hour at the airport for the shuttle service, then wait in line inside a hot garage (no AC, no seats, 30+ other people waiting): 3.5 hrs in total. At drop-off, they charged us 120 euros for a scratch we didn't make, claiming we should have checked the car more carefully at pickup and gone back to the desk (waiting for another 3h in line or jumping ahead of 30+ people) to report any damage not on the contract. The back seat had an unreported cigarette burn.

Pros: The cars are great, they treat small dents on a car as no damage, the staff was very clear on rental conditions.

Cons: The biggest problem is Centauro does not return the car excess taken if the damage to the car is done by someone else (not the driver) and the faulty person is known. They still do not return the 1600 eur deposit, and they try to force purchase of 300 eur all inclusive additional insurance. The centauro has 2 extra charges which are not listed on Discovery cars: 160 eur deposit for fuel and 100 eur deposit for road tolls (which is ok).

Cons: How about 3+ hours wait to get the car? Some people arrive after you, but because they overpaid for their insurance, you (I) will wait fir them to cut in front of you! Keep in mind; Before we go, we all have a pickup time... yet, 3+ hours after that time you get the car! The car's condition review sheet stayes that your car is new (no scratches) well, it was only 2000 miles on the car, but, not only was a Renault (I specifically avoided to rent a Renault) but it had as many scratches as miles.

Pros: The experience is quite terrible. I was left with a car that looked like it had a noose in the engine bay. After taking the car on the road I noticed it and came the day after to explain it and request a switch since that I was concerned about getting in problems on the highway with it. They tested the car and said everything was fine with it for me not to worry. Reality is that I had a car for a couple days doing the weirdest noise and was embarrassing when I picked up my clients at the airport

Pros: Their shuttle minibus was very small and they asked me to leave may wife in airport and after the rent a car booking process to come again to take her back from there...i should to do as they asked me to dovery helpness personel in airport office.i asked them to have internet only to make my paiment with my card but they haven't to help me.They tell me to go to the airport to buy a sim card but in Lisbon arrival terminal there is only Vodafone which is closed...

Cons: they did not give me back my deposit.They said that that will be paided back soon but they taken 207€ from my card but give me back only 44,46 € , il give back the car with any damage and 1/2 full fuel as they given me the first day...

Cons: Car has soooo many scratches and dents that's actually impossible to document them all. Car rented a Citroën C4. Car received, much smaller Focus. One saving grace... it's a Hybrid. Sadly.... The hybrid runs at 6.2lt/100km driving as fuel consciously as possible. Simply atrocious.

Cons: The car was washed during the pickup so it took a bit longer but tha's juat a minor inconvenience. The fuel conditions were advertised as full/full, however we got half tank - and half tank on return.

Cons: The service was great. It was hard to find the correct property entrance when returning the car. A large arrow under the sign pointing to the correct entrance would be helpful. If you take the next entrance 10' further you will have to back out into very busy traffic and then find your way back around. Once you know which driveway it is it's ok but for your first time it was confusing in busy traffic.

He advised if there was a problem that they would charge us and we would have to seek payment from DiscoverCars. 3rd, deposit on gas not refunded

Cons: I took the full insurance on the car and got the antenna of the car stollen and it was not covered and had to pay 50 euros extra. Full insurance is not full !

Cons: The person at the desk at the time of collection was pushy in trying to sell me their insurance despite me telling him that I have arranged insurance through Discover cars. Worst was the person who was at the dropoff. He wanted to charge me for a damaged wheel rim which was already there, it was also noted on the form which I showed him, he then apologised but only after me being firm.

Pros: The vehicle was new and clean with a full tank. The airport shuttle driver was friendly and helpful. Not a long wait to pick up the car.

Cons: The airport shuttle pickup location is not readily apparent. The rental agent was friendly and nice, but he tricked me into not getting the highway transponder. At drop off, I then had to pay a €18 fine to Centauro, which I tried to fight them on but they told me it was my fault for not reading the rental agreement in Portuguese. Arguing wasn't worth my time. Also, when I returned the car the agent was very rude and ill-tempered. I'm still waiting for my €100 toll deposit to be returned.

Cons: The fact that when dropping off the car I didn't receive any indications of the timing, procedure or Centauro address. Therefore I drove to the airport and had to come to the office. Hopefuly I had time. When coming to Lisbon I received an e-mail with indication to reach shuttle bus, the same should have been done for dropping off.

Pros: Very pleasant and apologetic for having to wait for 8 hrs after blowing tire. They had to give us another rental car, which was in better condition and an upgrade from the first. We were told that they will send us a cheque for reimbursement for tolls and gas and implied that they will give us some renumeration for the time we spent waiting for help, after blowing the tire. Hopefully, they will follow through with this.

Cons: Initially, the front desk had diffiulty finding our reservation. It seems that if the car is arranged through a broker, they give you one that is not in the best condion. At lease that's what it seemed like, as the car we were given had numerous dents and tires were very well worn . We blew a tire and had to wait by the Hwy for 8hrs. Finally, they had a taxi take us back to Lisbon( 1 1/2hr drive) to pick up a replacement, which was in a lot better condion and upgrade from the first.

Cons: Took 2 months and around 60 emails ( mostly unanswered) to get the upgrade money wrongly charged refunded.

Pros: The woman (Andrea) who handled my reservation was pleasant and spoke good English. But, see why I didn't like the Centauro service. The car came with a VERY LOW AdBlue exhaust fluid additive level, and I had to buy and add exhaust fluid--not a problem to do physically, but the car had diesel exhaust fluid gauge and I spent over an hour on the Internet trying to discern how to determine the level--and reset the warning light. Otherwise, the car was clean and in very good condition.

Cons: They didn't have a car in the classification I reserved--particularly the make and model I reserved. I had to pay additional for an upgrade to get something similar to meet myh needs. HIGH-PRESSURE sales tactics trying to get me to cancel the car reservation and insurance I purchased from Discover Cars and book directly with Centauro--which would have been more expensive. Took almost two hours to get a car to get on the highway to our destination, two hours away. VERY UNHAPPY with the treatment.

Cons: I had to wait 1h at the airport to be picked up. After have return the car I'm still in contact with Centauro as they are still in debt for the refunds. They did only a partial refund of the fuel deposit although I left the car with the tank full.

Cons: BIG PROBLEM. I paid for a full tank of fuel €73.00 and was told that this would be refunded if I returned the car with a full tank. I did return the car with a full tanks, filling up the same morning in Lagos and topping up at Ecobrent, just round the corner from Centauro. On arrival, we were rushed to the airport shuttle. In answer to my question, I was told that the refunds were processed automatically. The deposit and tool monies were refunded but not the fuel deposit. No reply to my email.

Cons: I had to stand in line in the 33 degrees sun for two hours before I made it to the desk. The car was dirty inside when I got it and was not full with fuel. Terrible experience, I am never going with a budget company again as I ended up paying far more than I would have with Sixth or one of those other companies.

Cons: There were a lot of hidden fees once we actually got to the rental car facility, also upon return of the car the employees were VERY rude and didn't want to help us. We allotted an extra hour of time to make sure we would be timely in catching our flight and we had to SPRINT across the airport and BARELY made our flight because all of the staff members decided to go on break at the same time. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate!!

Cons: Centauro told us that the additional money we had spent with the Discover Hire service for insurance was useless, and that we pretty much had to purchase an additional $300+ worth additional coverage. We were offered to leave a $1200 deposit as an alternative, but it was made clear that if we choose to do so, we would almost certainly have to pay for some damage, and we would be liable for everything. This complex pricing game is not at all clear.

We paid for via verde pass but it wasn’t in our car and we lost 1.5 hours waiting for them to get their act together, and issue us another pass. 3 the return was a nightmare. No good instructions no good signage to find Centuro.

When we returned we discovered we were being fined for five uses of the toll that would not have occurred had we 'activated' the toll payment device on renting the car. We explained this option was not offered to us. The representative said it was in the terms and conditions we signed. I cannot emphasise enough how upset we are by this.

We wasted 1/2 day of our vacation and were charged a full day for the rental that we didn’t get until 4pm. Female agent was rude and didn’t provide clear explanations. Information on the road tolls would have been appreciated.

Cons: The agency accused me of breaking the windshield and forced me to pay €550 to fix it. It was an absolutely absurd situation, where I had no ability to fight against what they were saying because they were holding €1200 hostage. Centauro is a fraud and a terrible rental agency.

Moreover, the fuel thank was not full when I receveid the car. At my return I had to argue to get my Bill. Horrible service.

This particular staff was impatient, rude and doing everything he could to have your spend more on fees. He wasn’t helpful to give us the best budget. He would interrupt and get frustruated at any question that you would ask him. Was not a pleasant experience and will never go back to this location in Lisbon. Very poor customer service and unorganized.
