On arrival at Barcelona Sants please go to the Centauro Rent a Car desk outside the station.
Leave the station via the "Plaça dels Països Catalans" exit. Cross two pedestrian crossings and bare left to cross another pedestrian crossing with a traffic light (Calle Viriat). You will find the Centauro office about 15 metres away on your right hand side.

Pros: close to the station, no queue.
Cons: It was all good, apart from the fact that they try really bad to scare you into buying their full coverage insurance. To do that they also throw in some lies about how accidents responsibility works and about how credit cards coverage does not. Weird also that they give you a car with 80% of the tan, make you pay for the fuel, and then reimburse you if you bring it back with the same level or more. It is obviously more difficult to fill up to 80% than to full.

Pros: Long wait to collect due to number of customers and only one member of staff working. No guidance on low emission zone rules.
Cons: On return, no one to greet us, no direction where to leave vehicle, no one looking over vehicle, staff not friendly and long wait for minibus shuttle (Madrid).

Cons: I felt like the car had a lot of small damages already and was only told initially of three areas on the car. When I took pictures to send there was MANY small dings in the car.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1100.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Rate excludes
If the customer declines Toll pass / E-toll device, a penalty of 40 EUR for each toll used in addition to the cost for each paid or unpaid toll will apply.

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.

The maximum rental period per agreement is 29 days.
