Cheap rent at Lisbon Airport

Pros: Car drop off was very quick and easy. Car was clean and in good working conditions.

Cons: I was about to pickup cart 2 hors early but agent conditioned that with upgrade of 50 EUROs although that I will return car as well early then planned. So there was no reason for additional charge since car was already at rental agency.

Cons: Charged £50 to re-open a reservation, flight was delayed so we got to the office 2h past the booking time, as soon as I got of the flight they were informed but this didn't change anything. Tried to get thr reservation timing changed with discovery but they wanted to charge £100 for the change. Rip off when people can't really inform anyone of delays, nothing human about this service.

No compensation for tolls or time (we were a 9 hour round trip from where we broke down). Lost a whole day. Not impressed. The next car was a little old and became low on diesel treatment before we got back.

I did take a picture of damage to a rim when I picked up my rental (fortunately) as they tried to tell me I had caused the damage so was able to avoid that added expense by showing them the picture. When they email you the paperwork, and you detect any damage or dents or scratches, take photos and immediately email to them. While picking up the car the representative spoke very little English, did not explain much and I was not aware and shown the car damages or the mentioning of them in the contract. Pros: Cheap rent was fantastic! I heard of many issues with customers meeting an agent at the airport. We picked up our car two days after we flew into Lisbon. The location was easy to find and Marko, the agent was great. He provided us with a brand new car, better than the one we were identified to get and explained everything about the rental conditions and insurance. We were in and out really quickly!
