City Centre Car Rentals at Perth Airport

Pros: Friendly, efficient service by the whole office team. Price of the rental and the cleanliness of the vehicle.

Cons: No car manual in the glove box to help with car functionality issues.

Pros: Good value and car was good. Did everything we needed..few dents and scratches but nothing excessive.

Cons: Car pickup location seemed further than it actually was. Also wasn't sure where to get shuttle bus once we arrived. After calling the office to confirm our arrival, shuttle bus took over 30 mins before it arrived. Waited in the heat for shuttle but was tiring.

Pros: The service was easy from A-Z. Phoning through for pick at the airport worked really well well. Staff at car pick up and drop off great. What was very much appreciated is that after drop off the took us to a nearby hotel instead of to the airport. Top marks to everyone at City Rentals😀👍

Cons: opted for the full cover insurance, however if there was a claim the first $4500 would be charged to my credit card and then I would have to claim back from City Centre insurance, which I thought was not good. Other car rental places do not operate like this, if you take full insurance then they sort everything with their insurance company and no excess is charged to your card and then you have to claim back. If I have know this I would have just used the travel insurance rental car excess cover

Was not impressed to be told that as the car supplier was an agent to discover there was a $4500 accident cover that we had paid to have removed. Pros: Excellent service from City Centre Car Rentals. The car provided was near new with low kilometres and drove really well. We had no issues with the car the whole rental period. The provision of their courtesy car to pick us up from the airport at the beginning of the rental period and then return us to our final accommodation at the end of the rental period was deeply appreciated. There were no issues about the condition of the car on return and the refund of the damage deposit was swift.

Driver admit is his fault didn't remind passengers to put on seat belt. After the incident the driver mentioned manager will send an email to us to solve this issue but until now no response. We extended our rental with very little notice at the end to an out of hours time and city car rentals were great at making arrangements to drop the car off at the airport which was fantastic. Would definitely use these guys again

Cons: Bizarrely they close at 1pm on Saturdays and Sundays so an out of hours surcharge is payable. Not excessive (ours was AUD68, 10% of the hire charge) but a little crazy given they're serving an international airport.

It should not have been rented out. We returned to the depot wasted over an hour to swap over the car. After being reluctant to take the same model again we had to pay to upgrade to a newer car. The staff never offered an apology (except one young Asian guy he was great) and made us feel like we were complaining over nothing.

Pros: It was really affordable for the type of car and number of days we were renting it for. Car was pretty decent as well for a family with young kids.

Cons: Very efficient and helpful staff. The pick up and drop off were all made very easy and convenient for us. Staff were really friendly too. Thank you City Car Rental.

Cons: I would the hindrance of using the shuttle service to collect and pick up the car but it was negligible.

Cons: It didnt state that they will charge the remote area fee until we arrived. Also, the direction of their pick up shuttle is not the same as stated on their website. When returning our car, they urged us to get out of the car as they needed the car.

Cons: What I did not like was some equipment like the NAV GPS and phone holder was not recommended. I got even lost with the NAV GPS, so I turned to Google Maps instead. The phone holder was frivolous as it kept slipping off.

Cons: Told to drop off car at 8.30 as fight home was 10.00 Only one staff member there znd someone arrived 3 hours early to collect there's This was very time wasting and stressful for us wIting 20 mins before interuppting and advising we had to go Ended up leaving car unchecked - another stress we didn't anticipate Not staff members fault but could be avoided by explaining to clients that they had requested a later pick-up and we needed to be checked out

Pros: I was informed that the insurance coverage only covered 500km radius from Perth, the furthest north I could drive was Geraldton unless i top up about $130 for additional insurance to travel to Kalbarri and pink lake. This info wasn't apparent when I booked the car so I had to change my plans but I appreciated the info was made known to me and I had a choice to top up or not.

Cons: The need to rent a phone holder. It would be nice if it came foc (its a low value item!) and you charge the full price of the holder if the client fails to return it with the car. I wasn't affected though since I brought my own :)

Cons: The rental company was closed when my flight landed at 7pm - what company closes that early when international flights always land later at night. I was charged for an extra day for no reason
