Confort is a car rental company operating in the South American nation of Colombia, a country that has exponentially improved its reputation as a tourism destination and now ranks as one of the best places to visit on the continent. The company began in 2010 with 10 cars. In 2015, the company would open a location in Medellin to serve the city’s airport. The next year it would begin operating near El Dorado International Airport serving Bogota, the country’s large inland capital. The company also has offices in Cali, Cartagena (serving Rafael Núñez Airport), and Barranquilla.
Confort, like most rental companies in Colombia, requires customers to have a credit card in order to leave the security deposit. The company allows its vehicles to be taken anywhere in the country of Colombia but doesn’t allow them to be taken to other countries like Ecuador. So if you’re planning a longer trip, you’ll need to rent separate cars in each country.
