Pros: Great staff at Queenstown, great car, great value. Way better than other car rental companies I've been a customer of around the world
Pros: The hybrid car saved us a lot in petrol. Great little car. The people were lovely.
Cons: Our only issue was the navigation and radio were in Japanese and could not be changed to English. There was no means of hooking our smartphones up to it either with Bluetooth. So we were running our phone batteries down using navigation via hand held devices. The phone holders provided weren’t the right size. We couldn’t listen to our music, just patchy local radio.

Pros: very friendly staff, prompt airport transfer via shuttle, cheap and accessible, car in decent condition and well looked after.
Cons: Car had some dents, some minor issues with the key. However, worked well and the car drived smoothly.

A Young driver fee is not applied.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In order to pick up the car, international renters must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit or debit card on a main driver's name, booking voucher.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Visa Debit Card, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, MasterCard debit card.
The following payment methods are accepted: Cash, Visa Debit Card, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, MasterCard debit card, Union Pay.
The credit card must be valid for the following period from the start of the rental: 3 months.
Maestro, American Express is/are not accepted.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.
Additional charges will be applied. Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.

In addition to all other documents, to use the out-of-hours delivery service, the renter must provide the following document(s): flight information, credit/debit card information, license number.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
