Pros: No one tried to push us on buying lots of add ons and also we had to drop the car early and doing that at a car park at the airport was so easy and saved us a shuttle bus with small children.

Pros: Shuttle guy and team were friendly. Charges were clear and fair, Only 20 euros to add another driver and 1.80 euro to add toll charge device. We were charged 20 euros because our flight was delayed as we arrived after 8:00, this was reasonable as my friend was charged 50 euro for this.

Cons: Overall very good although I did order an Intermediate SUV, Seat Arona or similar but got A KIA ceed with a scratch on the side. This is not an SUV. I didn't complain too much because I only paid 120 Euros for 11 days which is an excellent price.

Cons: we were charged as above for airport tax. we were also charged an out of hours charge for leaving the car back at 7.30am , when there was no one there to receive us at that hour & we were told to leave the car unattended in car park P1 & just leave keys in glove box. why were we charged for other peoples out of hours charge €20 when no-one was there to collect the car at that time?

Cons: Extra charge for returning the car out of working hours. We left the car at carpark with the key inside, without any agent to meet us according to direction given from the rental company.

Cons: Scam at the end where they lie about damages to the car was so unprofessional! Get pictures of every inch of your car as proof for when you drop off because they purposefully leave off damages with the walk around and you may miss little things after your long flight.

Cons: One main issue i had was when we were unloading stuff from shuttle bus when we got there no one helped with bags and id 6 bags and 2 kids and a buggy. Also when i got the car and the 2 car seats i got no assistance putting seats in or helping with bags.

Cons: The car was new and good condition but we felt it was smaller than what we had wanted to rent.

Cons: Hidden costs: as regards the costs while renting a car in Portugal, along with what disclosed during the online car reservation, additional costs were presented in the local counter, apparently "standard", the unavoidable one being "airport tax" of 15 euros. It is recommended that such "standard" cost be revealed and disclosed accordingly during the online reservation.

Cons: Should have more than a 90km amount of fuel in the car as I collected the car after 12.10 am. Better signage of pick up point. There is a unit at Faro which had the name discovery cars behind the desk agent were waited in a queue then found out it was nothing to do with discovery cars pick up point. 15€ is too much for a very short shuttle distance considering the current cost of car hire in Portugal twice the price of Spain

Pros: Pick up was waiting for us at the airport to take us to the car. Good instructions given to find them. No waiting around or queuing. The staff were fantastic and the price was excellent.

I remt cars often and never had such poor service on a return of a car. No aplogy and said you wnat your money back ring your bank. Not our problem. Awful.

Cons: When I booked the car I was promised a Peugeot 2008 when I got to Faro the rep didn’t wanna know about the booking and said we don’t promise cars to anyone a bit annoyed as I had booked the car at least 6 months before departure and the reason I wanna the Peugeot was because we had 3large suitcases Very disappointed

Cons: We paid for additional insurance on line to cover every eventuality but at the desk we were offered additional insurance of €10/day! and we’re told this was for ‘full’ cover, otherwise if we had a problem, our credit card would be charged and we would have to claim it back at some point. We didn’t budget for this cost, so we were worried and anxious all holiday. Great shame, I’m happy to pay for insurance, but would like to know cost when we book.

First had to buy a windshield cleaner and clean the inside of the windshield. Returning the car with half-full tank is not very customer-oriented. A full tank would be more appropriate.
