Cons: They didn't gave us the car we had reserved. They said that this one is better, but I don't think that was true. They gave us a rather old car with hardly any power that struggled to reach 40 km/h uphill, which can be quite dangerous

Cons: The agents were rude, unresponsive and unclear. I called and text multiple times and did not get any answers on where to drop the car off. There weren’t clear instructions at pickup on how to return the vehicle either. There was a lot of miscommunication and they were very rude and claimed I lied and never called or messaged. Even after showing messages and the call log the agent still called me a liar .

Pros: I have the car for 9 days and from the first day I drive the break makes noise and I thought okay maybe it’s just a temporary but seems I have that problem the whole period of the rental. I didn’t bother of going back and complain as I didn’t have time. The car has already more than 90.000 kilometers so you can imagine isn’t new.

Cons: As a first time visitor in Jordan, Dollar staff didn’t tell me what or which document do I need if a police stop me. I got two penalties for driving the wrong way and for not having the right car document. In Jordan, each vehicle has a car license which looks like a card. And during pickup Dollar staff didn’t told me about the car license. Well, the whole thing cost me 100€ you can either pay in cash or credit card when dropping off the car.

Upon returning, I assume the manager was shouting and rushing, clicking fingers overall generally rude, not a great environment. Once more the initial experience gives the impression of being cheated, as if the agents know the game they are playing providing a bad car just to force an upgrade.

Cons: The first car I was given (Renault) looked like a personal car, very old and used inside. It has engine issues, which the agent purported it was due to the cold, this was not the case. I drove about 10meters in the car and realised it was very likely a danger to my family, so we had no option but to pay for an upgraded car. The upgraded car was much better, safe, clean and reliable. It really is a bad mark for dollar car rental, I’m sure this is not the product they would be happy supplying

Then it was said that the tank would be full to full and afterwords it was able to drive just 100 km with the car we got. The doors did not had auto lock so every time we needed to close all doors separately in a manual way which got really anoying! Also, you are not allowed to pay by card there, so you need to have cash. If paying in EUR the rate is higer than expected.
