Pros: Staff were friendly, professional, and thorough. Pricing was transparent and no pushy upselling. Early return was handled with commensurate refund, very convenient and easy.

Cons: I had to wait 45 minutes for the vehicle, while dozens of people got their cars immediately. And while apparently the car was new, the features were shockingly limited (I could only control the driver's seat window from the driver's seat, I had to reach across to lower the passenger side, and rear windows were manual?!). Brakes screeched, the rear window wasn't cleaned properly so it looked hazy, and overall just felt like a very cheap vehicle. Not great for Baja terrain.

Pros: We were able to get a nice SUV at an affordable price

Cons: They advertised as being an in terminal pick up, they were not. We had to share a shuttle with people renting from 3 other car rental agencies so it was crowded. We had purchased full coverage plus extra coverage, but the service rep did a hard sale trying to get my husband to pay more, saying we weren't fully covered. I had to intervene and say that we were and not to buy the coverage, and the rep argued with me.

Pros: The car was good, new, and clean, and in the class we expected.

Cons: No agent was at the terminal when we arrived. We had to find someone from another agency who called Dollar, then we waited 20mins for their shuttle to pick us up. Pickup took over an hour. Several agents were working, but despite us having prepaid everything, there was an unbelievable amount of typing by the agent. I estimate each customer took over 20mins to get a car. Once we had our rental agreement, we went to the next station (pickup area) and waited ANOTHER half hour for photos.

Cons: Was quoted a price of $137. Ended up paying $900 with their added insurance that they MADE me take. The car had no suspension and scratches all over the place which I guess is understandable after driving on the roads down there. My brother who knows Spanish very well was able to get his car at the quoted price but it took walking out and getting chased down by another agent.

Cons: Hidden fees/charges. Terrible rental car. So much damage to it. Could barely run. Had engine lights on. We took it back and they said we caused damage to it, which we did not. We not nice to deal with. Felt taken advantage of. Pretty certain we had the crappiest rental car in Mexico.

Cons: Totally misleading information : Rental agency wasn't in the terminal. Taken to an all rental agencies location where all renters are dealt with the same way Misleading insurance add on doubled the amount of rental. No signs on where to return car and majority of staff was just getting to work at 9am

Pros: car was clean and ran well

Cons: 1) It took an hour to get our car and our invoice had the wrong name (my first name is Steve, not Bruce and the last name on the invoice was also not mine. Only our address was close to being correct - how is this possible since my drivers license was used to fill out the contract?). 2) we had to bring the car back after a "warning" message to change the oil appeared on the dash (the oil had been changed but no one reset the code).

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 720.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Vehicle registration fee, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 80 years.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 71.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, booking voucher, return flight ticket.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Crossing country borders is allowed to the following country: USA.
Information on the exact fee amount is available by request.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

Using a ferry is allowed on the previous request and for an additional charge with special permission from the car rental company.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
