Pros: The service was great, the people who work there were very nice and helpful and gave us lots of tips of what to do on salalah. The overall process was quick and easy
Pros: Nothing, they simply told me they didn’t have a car. We couldn’t afford the other option which was double the price of the one I ordered. They provided no alternative. We didn’t have a car as a result of the zero customer service by Dollar and discover car.
Cons: Everything, they left me without a car for my family and children. It ruined our trip. The customer service was none existent. I asked to speak to a manager there were none available. The man behind the desk raised his voice when I asked to be given an alternative car without the additional cost. I couldn’t afford the bigger more expensive alternative. Disgusting service.
Pros: They provided a new car with good features..
Cons: They charged me 5 OMR extra for parking.. but there was no parking applicable in the city
Pros: They didn’t deliver the car citing no availability.
Cons: Disappointing as was with family and had to wait for long time to get an alternative

Rental Conditions

A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) national licences are acceptable if drivers are holding a GCC passport. GCC countries are as follows: Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. Drivers from other countries must have a valid International Driving Permit plus their own national licence. A national or International Driving Permit alone is not acceptable.
In order to pick up the car, domestic renters must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, visitors visa.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
The excess/deductible for drivers over the age of 24 varies from 125 OMR to 150 OMR, depending on the car group.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Diners, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
The following are accepted methods of payment:Cash.
Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
The purchase of the following insurance(s): Cross Border Pack is mandatory.

Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
