Drivalia at London Stansted Airport

Pros: Marius & especially his trusty assistant were able to guide me through a few issues with my requirements. Mileage requirements, etc.

Cons: All good

Cons: Very pushy and unhelpful agent who won’t even recognise the deal with Discover cars. As for the car it didn’t even have a radio, not what we were expecting from Discover cars

Cons: Wouldn’t let us pick up the car and we’re completely unhelpful from there. Didn’t even end up getting a car

Pros: Not to expensive, easy airport transfer

Cons: Long waiting time for Pick up and retourn. Employee very stressed.

Pros: Excellent service, car was in very good condition. Rental rates were very good... but once insurance is added, the amount bloats exceedingly high! Was not sure if we've got to take extra insurance coverage with Drivalia. Beware though... the counter staff will scare the hell out of you during pick up that the insurance taken with any other party other than Drivalia will result in you having to pay for the repairs in case of an accident & that claims may not be honoured by third party insurers.

Cons: Didn't like the idea of having to buy extra insurance at exorbitant rates at the desk! The cost of the car skyrockets once insurance is added. The good thing is that the staff gave me an upgrade from the car I booked because I opted for their insurance coverage.

Pros: Hadn't heard of Drivalia before but found the service good. Car was in excellent condition and a better model than expected. No issues when dropping off.

Cons: Car was empty at pickup which causes issues as you don't know how much driving you are going to do

Pros: The guys were friendly, didn't rush you and explained everything clearly

Pros: At Stansted, the company was honest. We found a scratch on a wheel and assumed we'd done it. When we returned the car, the agent told us that the scratch had been made by the previous renters.

Cons: They should point out to renters that there's a pump in the boot. We wasted a lot of time going to service stations before we found the pump in the tyre well.

Pros: Only drop off was on hire standard.

Cons: On collect the car I had only debit card. Pros: Friendly, To the point.

Cons: They gave away the car I had reserved to someone else, meaning I had to reissue a voucher.

Pros: The staff was adamant onthe driving license. The card specially mentioned the first date of issue of DL. However it was renewed 2 times and thus new date of issue was recent.

Cons: The staff needs to be more humane

Pros: Absolutely nothing. Dishonest and coercive behaviours.

Cons: Misleading pricing. Coercive agent who claimed that all dealing / payments with and to Discover Car did not apply to Drivalia with additional payments and insurance options needed to be taken out.

Pros: Nico at the desck and sergio over the phone were great! Kind professionals, and competent

Cons: The car wasn’t in a great condition which is worrying that on return we could be charged for damage we hadn’t been responsible for. We booked free cancellation but don’t think it was clear that if you cancel they won’t refund but give a credit voucher instead.

Cons: We had an issue with the payment of the security deposit because we had to use a credit card to the name of the main driver. We requested atthe counter to add a new driver and make it main, which is basically an administrative modifcation dn it was not accepted. The only option offered was to pay an additional insurance so that no security deposit payment was required.

Cons: I didn't have a credit card and it wasn't clear that I needed one with discover car insurance

Pros: Rented the smallest car (Fiat 500 equivalent) for 4 days with 400 mileage limit. I didn’t notice the mileage limit when ordering, but the representative asked me if I’d like to upgrade and I am very thankful. This looks kinda like a scam by rental companies to make rentals appear cheaper, but other companies do it aswel and it was still cheap overall. +1 point for the offer, -1 for renting strategy. Smallest car was probably unavailable, so we got an upgrade for free, much appreciated. +1

Cons: When checking car condition we were kinda rushed into signing it, we took photos regardless. However, upon returning the car, we were not provided with a copy of car assessment made by the employee. Not only that, but we were rushed again and the assessment points were blank! Which means that if there’s any dispute they can just put any damage they like and collect the huge amount of excess. So if anything goes wrong the client is pretty vulnerable with drivalia. -3 points.

Cons: Inside windscreen was greasy / dirty - these need to be cleaned before being given to customers

Met another confused customer..they ended up ordering uber.I had time to figure out fortunately.

Pros: They had me in my car in less than 10 minutes of arriving. Did not try and sell you a better car or insurance. They were polite and knowledgable about the car. On dropping off the car I was there less than 2 minutes. Amazing service !

Cons: My flight was delayed and I called the rental branch twice to tell them that I would arrive just before closing at 00:30. Twice the agent was rude and told me not to bother because it was too late. I would have to come again in the morning. So, I had to book a hotel at the airport and then the agent told me that my car wasn't guaranteed and probably I wouldn't get any car in the morning because Drivalia was sold out. His reply to all my argument was "take it up with your broker."

Cons: My booking has been canceled by Discovercars even if i had paid in advance a quota. I had to re-rent a car, much more expensive than my previous chosen one. Not sutisfied
