Andra att skrämde oss för försäkringen och påstod att försäkringen som vi har skaffat gäller inte på grund av att de kan som ägare till bilen teckna försäkringen men man undrar om det är så, varför Discaveri cars.com har sålt full skydds försäkring och till sist tagit fullbetal igen trots jag blev debiterat en gång tidigare via Discover.com site.

Cons: Jag gillade inte oseriösa beteenden.

Pros: The team was super helpful, kind and friendly.

Cons: I did not like how the facility was not on the airport grounds and needed to be transported there and back. This was a bit annoying.

Pros: The car was clean and tidy. Also, it had a full tank of fuel.

Cons: I was supposed to collect the car the previous night and my flight was delayed. On arrival, I called the number given a few times, within the time duration of the opening hours, there was no answer. this resulted in myself and my family having to get taxis. As well as this, I had to get out to the pick up point at the airport the next morning.

Pros: Fantastic service , will use them again and will highly recommend them to my friends . Great staff . Very helpful .

Cons: Extortionate hidden insurance cost, held me to ransom. Twice the costs of the actual hire.

Pros: Nothing, we were coherence into taking out further insurance as you did not cover the car insurance, because you did not own the car. We were cheated out of 500 GBP!!

But then let us off, because we had complained! They was a GPS in the car but no manual on how to use it! I cannot believe that we took insurance out twice, neither company informed us of cancelling your insurance. Drivalia reason was they did not know, but they did know that some companies do. Pros: I had a problem with a tire, that was a bit damaged. I went back to the rental and they changed my car right away.

Pros: The agent in Edinburgh was very helpful.

Cons: Pick up is far away, the LHR drop-off was hard to find and we waited for over 30 minutes for a shuttle.

Pros: Easy pickup and drop location. They didn’t make any false claims after the car dropped off.

Cons: Car wash not done. One of the wiper blade was torn. The staff who provided me the car was not polite and helpful.

Pros: The car hadn’t been cleaned because of frozen pipes. It also had a few bashes to the side. Not a problem. I needed a car for a week as mine was in the garage & didn’t want to pay huge rental charges. This car fitted the bill. Many thanks

Cons: Bit confusing initially about where to go to pick up the car and is a bit of a distance away from airport but as was my first time using Drivalia in Edinburgh would not be an issue again.

Cons: the shuttle bus from airport to office and from office to airport has gap of information to pick up. the time betwen travels are longer and sometimes we need to wait the second bus

Pros: The agent at the front desk at the time of picking up the car was helpful. Reasonably priced car which was in good condition.

Cons: There was no water filled for cleaning the windshield of the car. No wiper was provided to clear the ice from the glasses. The agent at the time of handing back the car was not polite.

Cons: We collected the hire car in the evening when inspecting the car in daylight there were several dings, scratches to the wheel trims, the front to 2 seats were absolutely filthy

Pros: For the price, this was the best option and quality we could find in Edinburgh. Top notch sales agents and very good value for money cars.

Cons: Not much to dislike. The only downside was the distance from the airport and the need for a (free) shuttle, which adds to the time needed for picking/delivering the car.

Cons: The addition of Collision Damage Waiver doubling the car hire cost. Discovercars does not have that information on the website. This was upsetting and reflected badly on Drivalia. Agent recommended to go directly to Drivalia's website instead of Discovercars.

Pros: Service was quick, straight to the point, and friendly. Frazer even helped me call a taxi and make sure I got in.

Cons: They did not provide any instruction on how to charge an electric car. Even when we called asking questions later that day, the person rudely said "I already gave you all the info you need" when obviously they didn't. Even if they did, it's their job to provided the info again and not be rude. We were expecting info on what charger the car used, how long it'd take to charge on different kw, how to find chargers, how to pay for it... all we were told was "it's easy, just like pumping petrol"

Pros: Dropping off the car was easy and efficient. Service was prompt despite a number of cars being dropped off or picked up at the time. The person I dealt with was friendly, pleasant and efficient. The drop off experience changed my very negative opinion of Drivalia obtained during pick up and is the only reason I would consider using them again

Cons: Picking up the car took several hours. It was extremely busy when we arrived. Don't know if there's much they could have done about it!? Car didn't have a spare tire. No problem if you don't have a flat but....we did on the Isle of Mull and it by was a bit of a painful experience...took two days to get a tire and the car back. But, not sure if any other rental company would have solved our problem sooner....or if other rental companies provide spare tires nowadays??

Cons: They charged me a full day rental for a car I told them in advance I could not pick up due to a canceled flight, THEN charged me an extra GBP144 when I did pick up the car for an un asked for upgrade because the car I paid for had already been rented out. The office was very hard to find for the return. The staff was very reluctant to spend any time showing me how the car worked. The nav didn't work at all.

Cons: It wasn’t clear on forehand that not every EV came with a charge card or plug. Ours didn’t, which no one told us, nor did Drivalia say anything about how charging in Scotland works. So we had to call them — and then they gave us incomplete information, we discovered after calling the chargeplace company.

Pros: Service was good by the team member but he never explained that there will be no one present when we drop the car off. Website states opening hours are from 6 am. We got there 6 am on the dot, waited 20 mins and no one was there. We were lucky that another company team member was going past and he explained that people give them the key when Drivalia is not open. We felt very hesitant doing it as it was never explained to us.

Cons: We ended up taking that option as the shuttle was leaving to the airport and if we missed that shuttle we might have missed our flight. No paperwork or email after the pickup given to us. There was another 2 guys trying to return the car and they were in the same boat, no explanation no paperwork. We paid full cover online but apparently that didnt cover everything so we had to pay almost double the original cost at the location to get full cover.

Pros: The staff were great. There just wasn't enough of them to handle the influx of customers after the arrival of our flight. One person at the check in desk was not enough. He did a fabulous job of moving people through but could have used 2 more people to make it work.
