Cons: Service in Milan was good but: 1. There was only one car in our group, MG car that was stinky from cigarettes, no car play and very poor experience. (Not employees fault) 2. I have got first a car that I found that he no automatic just after I had started driving and had to come to change it to the poor car below 3. After that we coming again the day after to the airport to change the car and missed the only evening in Milan and they charged us for the fuel!

Pros: The staff at Malpensa Drivalia, in particular, MariAngela, This service rep is someone that understands the meaning of customer service. It is because of her ability, patience and helpfulness, I have used Drivalia in the past and will continue to recommend them.

Cons: Very bad info in the booking where to go to pick up the car, and no info at all where we had to leave the car. Also the number for assistance didn’t work, or they didn’t pick up the phone. Also the car window inside was very dirty so I had to clean it before driving, also the tire pressure was way to low to drive on the highway. Plus one windscreen wiper was broken that make the vision very hard if it rained.

Pros: Everything was well explained, we asked for an additional inspection to ensure all scratched and dents were on the system before we drove off. We booked the vehicle on special and all went well.

Cons: At Drivalia they were extremely rude and took advantage of my situation with a toddler up charging me hundreds of euros in order to get my reserved car immediately. When attempting to contact Discover Cars for support, no one would pick up the number provided. All around terrible. Never booking with either provider or agent again.

Cons: The rental company's restrictive conditions and unhelpful customer service make it unreliable for travelers, particularly those relying on car rentals. Despite pre-booking, assistance was lacking, and staff were unwilling to accommodate a customer with a valid Canadian driver's license, insisting on an international one without offering help. In summary Unhelpful and unfriendly.

Pros: Nothing! Need to reinforce the customer service and to ensure all documents are in the language (english)of the person hiring the car. Also, the young lady at the counter was RUDE, ABUSIVE & WOULD NOT LISTEN!

Cons: Chech the oil-level in the engine before you drive away (they don’t and we ran out of oil after 200km in the middle of nowhere). Will only recommend the company if you speak Italian (communication and contract is not in english).

The second (free upgrade) car had significant damage to the body work and had a terrible smell of old sigarette smoke in the interior.

Cons: As a US customer, I'm now accustomed to rental companies no longer worrying about little scratches and dings. Annoying that in Italy, you still have to mark the damages ahead of time and worry about these little things.

Cons: Amount I paid in total was 1/3 higher when stated in my rental voucher. After I returned a car I was charged a road tax and airport surcharge and some additional tax. None of that was included in the initial quote.

Cons: I had trouble with the Car Rental with Drivalia. The Electric car stopped charging and we were left stranded in the middle of Italy in a small town of Orvieto. We tried reaching out to Drivalia and Discovercars and MG Motors but no response. Had to rent a hotel room, pay for a taxi for 110 Euros to the nearest Mobility Centre and then to our further surprise, instead of being given a replacement car for free, we were given a new rental for an additional cost of 210 Euros. It was a bad experience

After 10 mins I went to him again and he said he cancelled the booking and can’t give me the car. I had to book another car through another rental agency, which costed a lot more money

We couldn’t fit all of our luggage comfortably in the Jeep Renegade we selected. I was in tears and exhausted and he pulled a set of keys out of a bag and upgraded us to the next size SUV. If he would not have been so understanding and gracious I don’t know what we would have done. Throughout our travels I was constantly thinking of his kindness!

Pros: Did not officially rent car with them since it was only 100% electric. Which was NOT made clear by discover cars and therefore had to forfeit the rental since fully electric was not suitable for trip purposes. Drivalia was very pleasant to work with and accommodating despite the problems.

It wasn’t until we got really good help from Vittoria at the Drivalia desk at Fiumicini Airport BUT we had to drive out there twice because they were too busy to answer phones. Cons: Return of the car was a little difficult. We did have to go back to our hotel to pick up our contract as we had left it there and needed it for the return. This was our fault. However, from the beginning of our arrival at the return desk, the agent was not very friendly, did not seem to be interested in helping us. Cons: I missed the 1 hr window for pickup. It is very difficult to hit a 1 hr window when coming from a plane and going through immigration. I had to wait 2 hrs for a car to be available although it seems the car was always just sitting in the car lot. Apparently it was brand new and had never been driven before. I can't help but think they are intentionally unhelpful. This was happening to half the people trying to take cars out.

This is how you run a rental.

Replaced it with the spare and contacted Drivalia, who advised there was a Drivalia location in La Spezia who would be able to exchange our car for a fresh one. Tried calling the La Spezia location: nobody picked up the phone, but had no other options. When we got there it turned out the Drivalia location had no cars, and had to get the flat tyre replaced ourselves with no help from Drivalia at all

I went around and around for 45 minutes. It says stay right ... but everything about finding the location is Left!

Cons: The car didn’t have a sat nav fitted. I know it didn’t promise one and that you can pay to hire one; but these things are cheap to buy and should really be part of the hire. Apple Play was also unavailable. Not a disaster but just makes the company look tight fisted.

Cons: Due to an early morning return, I was unable to return the car with a full tank of gas (could not find an open station nearby). The tank was half full and I understood that I would be responsible for the difference. The bill for them to refill the tank however was $76 (including service fees, VAT, etc) for approximately $25 gas. That seems rather extreme.

Cons: Very bad service! I resedved a Fiat 500, and they gave me a Panda without air coditioner, also after I refuse cause I had to do 250 km in that day, with 31º C... It was the first time that it´s happened!

Cons: I requested a manual transmission, and was told I could have an automatic when I arrived at the counter. What I got was neither, it was a plug-in hybrid, which is of no use when you're traveling, as there is nowhere to plug the damned thing in. Thus I was shackled with a sluggish car with a tiny tank, meaning daily if not multiple visits to a gas station in a single day.

Our drop off was 9pm and the office is supposed to Closed at 11pm. We called at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm all the way up to the drop off time. We found it so hard to find as there were no Clear Instructions Given like there was for pick up. (We picked up and dropped off at different airports)

Cons: When picking up the car, the clerk was busy joking with her colleagues and only told me not to put diesel in the tank. Never mentioned anything to drive on GPL. So for the first 1200 km or 750 miles I spend about $ 120 more on gas than if I would have driven on GPL

Pros: Radio and plug in car play was locked and they left mote with the security code to unlock it and I had to wait 24hrs “car should be on all this time”to reinsert the code which was wrong . I requested car seat on the initial booking and when I arrived there was no availability and I had to buy one second day and through it away when I finished. Also no refill in the window cleaner tank

Leasys then tried to charge me for petrol/gas even though I literally filled up 3 minutes before dropping it off at the gas station at the airport. I've filled a complaint and they haven't responded to me. The car had a lot more damage when picking it up then the rental agreement stated so check your car thoroughly. Wasn't told how to drop it off at a different airport so that took ages too. No employees present at drop off, had to walk to arrival
