Drive&Go at Porto Airport

Pros: I was able to converse with an agent on Whatsapp when I had problems with the car.

Cons: The car had issues that should not have occurred in such a new vehicle.

Cons: Dizia no voucher que haveria um telefone no aeroporto para ligarmos para a rent a car à chegada. A informação esta incorreta, o telefone não existe, ficamos perdidos no aeroporto e temos ligar do nosso próprio telefone gastando uma chamada internacional. O carro foi entregue com os pneus da frente completamente carecas para um aluguer de duas semanas, o que é extremamente perigoso uma vez que um dos pneus poderia ter rebentado, provocando um acidente e custos para mim.

Cons: I felt like the guy was trying to sell me upgrades, extra charges. I paid £150 more than I was expecting. Single mum, and I felt intimidated.

Pros: We were unlucky to have our car busted by a thief and the agency helped us tremendously. Got us a brand new car immediately and made the whole process of using the insurance a breeze. All in all amazing customer service experience.

Cons: The day we picked up the car they had IT issues which made the process very long and difficult, but they have us some free gas as compensation, which was much appreciated.

Cons: The shuttle car was marked with FreeRent logo. When it came to the airport, we missed it for the first time, as we were expecting a Drive&Go shuttle. I had to call the office, and only then I was instructed to look for a FreeRent van.

Pros: They had trouble with their computer system but couldn’t have been more apologetic and helpful dealing with us.

Cons: They took a while to get us from the airport but once we realised the cause of this issue & given the allowances they made it all worked out fine.

Pros: The car was old; but it worked.

Cons: There are no signs of where to wait for the shuttle bus. I had to call them to get picked up and they took a while to pick me up. Returning the car was a nightmare, they don't have any parking spaces, it's all done on the street, where a street market is held, with lots of traffic and cars parked everywhere. I had to park the car behind other parked cars. When I arrived, 2 staff were busy processing new clients and I had to wait a long time for another staff to arrive to process my return.

Pros: The company were very friendly and attentive and responded well to a couple of issues that materialized during picking up the car.

Cons: Felt nervous scratching the car for the whole 19 days despite having taken the full insurance. Hire agent put a doubt in our minds that we would have to pay for any damage then claim back from discovery. Didn't like the feeling of being in edge for the whole duration if the hire.

End Trusting discovercars. (If I didn't trust I would have paid double money) The price would not have been worth it. Risk? Yes, but I was quite nervou

Pros: The depot is not at the location shown on Google maps, they have moved. When we arrived at the depot the que was out of the door with upset customers wanting to get on their way. But there was the usual hard selling of insurance. The whole office seemed disorganized. When we eventually got our car, it was in poor condition, rear door was badly dented, car had lots of scratches, high mileage over 76 thousand kilometers. Inside was dirty. Car was not showing insurance sticker.

Cons: 1-there was a mix up with the car rental company's address, as they had changed premises recently but the old address was still on the Discover Cars website and voucher, so I went to the wrong location; thankfully I called them and they then came to pick me up and drove me to their actual premises (1.5 km away); 2-instead of blocking the rental deposit off my credit card the car rental company actually charged me the deposit amount (EUR 1 615) - thankfully they then refunded me 2 days later

Pros: We got given another car as ours was blocked in. Anna kept apologising as it hadn't been cleaned. Even though it was. Anna is a credit to your organisation and I can't praise her enough for the attention and friendliness. I will definitely book again if I am dealing with her

Cons: My rent was booked for 8pm , my flight was delayed and I was only able to get to the place around 8:15. When I got there the door was closed saying opening hours 8am to 8pm and I was not able to pick up the car leaving me to rent a car for one day that cost me nearly half what I paid to rent a car for 2 weeks. To my sadness I didn't even get an explanation why and what happened. Simply nothing happened.
