Ecovia at Naples Airport

Pros: The guy at the desk in Naples was very pleasant and capable.

Cons: Everything that followed was bad. The car was covered in my and bird poop on the outside and the inside was filthy. The TPMS started malfunctioning an hour after we picked up the car. Dropping the car off in Rome was horrible. It took two hours to locate a human after reaching the drop off location and we were then charged for another day because we ran over the time limit.

Cons: They asked me more money than your reservation.

Pros: The car was nice and in a good state except the low cooling fluid causing the overheating

Cons: I thought i had good insurance coverage booked, but they gave me the impression i didn’t at the desk. More transparency on insurance would be good.

Pros: Nothing they were rude

Cons: That I was"late" collecting a car I'd booked.

Cons: Nobody told us, that office isn't open until 8am on Saturday. We had to rush for our flight and drop the keys in a key box, hoping that everything will be OK. Nobody was answering the phone to confirm we are doing the right thing. We had to ask few other companies to make sure it is OK.

Pros: Didn’t like We hired two cars for two 4 week periods: VW Up, Fiat Panda. Long queues and therefore wait time (I hr) picking the car up. Address and phone numbers on DiscoverCars website inaccurate. Existing damages diagram inaccurate at pick up. Thankfully we took comprehensive photos. Fiat Panda hybrid has poor safety ratings, no reversing cameras, no cruise control, no near object detection.

Cons: Liked: great fuel economy, adjustable headrests (Fiat Panda), nice friendly man checking the car on return, the second time we returned..and polite. Office staff efficient, polite and friendly, (when we eventually reached them) and working well in the heat and under pressure.

Pros: Good enough car for a reasonable price.

Cons: Undocumented scratches/damage to the car which we would have been charged for if we hadn’t taken very careful photos and videos.

Pros: The drop-off was easy and the Ecovia agent was nice and efficient.

Cons: There was not sufficient guidance on the pick-up location when we exited the airport, and we had to call the Ecovia desk several times before the shuttle bus arrived. This could have been organized a lot better! Further, when we picked up our rental car, the Ecovia agent was arrogant and rude and kept commenting to his colleague and the next screen while sending us side-glances. We had booked a “Golf or similar”, but that was not the car we received. Let me know if you need further.

Cons: I’m didn’t even receive the car

Pros: The car was ecofuel

Cons: The car had low power to go uphill

Cons: Still waiting for the return of the deposit . They gave the" explanation that´s because banks are closed on sundays!! only in Italy!

Pros: Everything ok....good transfer good car easy to pick up.

Pros: Really good value compared with big brands

Cons: We were asked either to wash the car before return or else pay a charge to have it washed - that was unexpected

Cons: Picking up the car took very long time Requested 14 euros to pay outside cleaning which was surprise and a first At return looked much more thouroughly than normal for any damage in order to be able to charge us, fortunately there was nothing Doesn't seem like a very serious rent a car

Pros: check in guy was really helpful and also got an upgrade too :-)

Cons: was a bit hard to find the shuttle bus at Naples airport

Cons: International drivers license was not specified as required, and not required by other agencies. Agents also did not know it could be applied for online. A/C was not working.

Pros: The car was pretty new.

Cons: Asked to bring back the car clanned. It is the first time I faced such requirement.

Cons: Would appreciate more kindness

Cons: I made an accident and still didn't got the fixing price

Pros: Almost new and car, quick service

Cons: Fueltank full to full rule was not met. But this is not big problem because they accept same amount fuel when returning car.

Pros: Great service. No hidden fees

Pros: Rude staff and not willing to put at disposal upfront an insurance damage of the car

Cons: Car renting facilities far away from the airport grounds and pickup point not sheltered to get proper waiting

Pros: The car was great and good value for money

Cons: Despite having a filter in my search this is not in the airport concourse, the mini bus took over half an hour to arrive and then it took 45 minutes to get the car because there was 1 person on the desk and several people waiting and returning cars. This was exactly what we didn’t want.

Pros: They did a little bit better than I was expecting actually.

Cons: A bit too far from the airport and the shuttle drops you off 300m from the main airport entrance.

Pros: It was easy, quick, with a great value for the money and we got a better car with no extra costs!

Cons: Finding the rental desk in Naples airport was quite confusing, but the dealer called me because he was afraid about my lateness and sent a driver to pick us up. Great customer service!!!!

Cons: Ecovia Desk is far wawy from Naples's airport

Pros: Fast and helpful staff.

Cons: The price of the complete insurance coverage at the desk was 5 times higher than the online option.

Pros: Friendly efficient service.

Cons: I had a pickup time of 10pm. Luckily I managed to get to the office around 9.40pm. However I was told that the office closed at 10pm - had my flight landed even slightly late, I would have missed the pickup - with no apparent back-up solution.

Pros: Shuttle service to and from the airport.

Cons: The staff was unprofessional, car condition at the time of collection was already very bad and on the top I was made liable to a scratch which I believe already existing before I rented.
