Pick-up instructions

For arrivals in Terminals 1, 2 and 3 proceed towards Terminal 1. Exit the terminal building, cross the street and you will find the Car Rental cabin located in the car park. Upon arrival in Terminal 4 head to the ground floor. Walk past the Car Rental desks and head directly outside to the car park. Once in the car park, turn left and head to the end of the car park where you will find the Car Rental booth.

Cons: There was less gasoline in the tank than they told us. They said it was full. It was not. But we didn't notice that until we were en route out of Madrid. So we had to return the car in Malaga with a full tank even though it originally had only about 6/8ths of a tank

Pros: The individual agents were professional, although their courtesy couldn't compensate for all the problems with the car.

Cons: NIGHTMARE CAR RENTAL with Enterprise!!! We discovered a crack in the windshield of our car the first day, that grew by the hour. Had to exchange that car for another, and that one's a.c. malfunctioned after 2 hrs.! Took that car to yet another Enterprise office, and had to refuse a replacement car also with a cracked windshield! Being charged for the windshield of the first car, even though we had coverage through Discover Cars. BEWARE!!! Go somewhere else!!! Spent third of our vacation on this!

Rental Conditions

Rate includes

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1200.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium location fee, Vehicle registration fee, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.

Rate excludes

The following surcharges may apply: Premium Location surcharge.

Driver requirements

Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): EU countries.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit or debit card on a main driver's name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, return flight ticket, proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill), flight information.

To rent the following vehicle category(ies): Luxury, Fullsize, Cabrios, Special, Prestige, you must provide the following document(s) at pickup: return flight ticket, flight information, local address (apartment; hotel; villa; etc.).

Deposit and deductible policy

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.

The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.

Cross-border policy

Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
Written permission from the rental company is required.
Crossing country borders to Andorra, Portugal, Gibraltar is free of charge. Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Switzerland.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

Optional extras and services

Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

It is allowed to add up to 3 additional drivers. Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.

Fuel policy

The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

Additional information

Winter tires are not mandatory in Spain.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.

Rental period

The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.

Business hours

Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 29 minutes.
The grace period will be honored only during business hours.
