Pros: The staff were super friendly and helpful.
Cons: The drop off point in Lisbon was really busy and the staff were under a lot of pressure to move the cars fast. It felt like i was rushed into hading over the keys, which almost led to me leaving items in the car. I had to tell the employee there to wait until i was satisfied i had collected all of my belongings.
Pros: To take the car is fast and rather easy.
Cons: There was very limited space of parking space to drop off the car in Lisbon. Misleading information about the payment of the roads in Portugal ie. the Eurocar company reserved extra 100 eur for such payments for Via Verde, but all amount was transferred back after dropping of the car. So I’m confused why they didn’t charge Via Verde road fees?
Pros: It was a brand new car so was very nice, clean and comfortable
Cons: The Europcar service agents always try to oversell the add ons. We paid extra for the GPS and its charger was not working so it was of no use to us. They scare you of fines and try to sell the Via Verde toll pass while it was again of no use as one could normally pass through tolls making

Please check the Rental Conditions for each vehicle prior to booking as some conditions, particularly the deposit and deductible, may vary based on the class of vehicle.
All rental vehicles are equipped with a transponder that can be used for paying for all toll roads.
You’ll be charged a service fee of 2.50 EUR per day up to a maximum of 21.50 EUR per rental in addition to the tolls, which will be charged to your credit card after the rental period.
You may also be required to leave an additional deposit for tolls.
The Airport Surcharge applies in all airport locations. An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees.
For rentals of 1–29 days, mileage is unlimited.
The cost for additional mileage (mileage extension) depends on the vehicle type.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 23.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
For vehicles in groups Luxury, Premium, Economy Elite, SUVs, Special a driver license issued at least 2 years ago is required.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Roof rack, Toll pass / E-toll device, Wi-Fi, then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.
Cash, Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.
Booked extras are not guaranteed. All extras are subject to availability at the rental counter.
Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request. Additional charges will be applied.
Winter tires are not mandatory in Portugal.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 29 minutes.
