Cons: Representative was believed to be a new staff and did not break down and explain cost of rental. We thought overall amount included security deposit, but when final amount was charged, it did not remove the initial booking cost.

Cons: Europcar had not organised the right car for us to pick up. We had booked a large 4wd SUV and were given a a small 2wd SUV not equivalent at all to the car we booked. So far no effort has been made to adjust any pricing to a lower spec car and it is upon to us to chase that. The lady at the desk waited for the last minute after all paperwork and payment was made to bring up the fact that the car was not available. Terrible service from Europcar I will advise anyone not to book through them

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (damage deductible: ~€ 3350.00), Third Party Liability (TPL), Vehicle registration fee.

Mileage policy
If the customer plans to drive a large number of miles, he/she must return to the local car rental office to inspect the vehicle before reaching 10000 km.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
The driver license must be written in English alphabet.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, flight information.

If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Snow chains, then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
