Pros: Great car, easy to drive

Cons: The fact that we couldn't extend the car rental period over the phone. We had to go to a Europcar agency. The fact that the GPS navigation was in German, and the language could not be changed readily. This should have been addressed at pick-up! The return spot was not well indicated at P2 BER Airport. We ended up at the wrong side of the building using GPS, luckily a nearby smoker was able to give us proper direction.

Pros: Drop off in Warsaw is EXTREMELY complicated to undertone. The direction in the voucher is incorrect, the return rental car is very very small and the only one at the Chopin airport, hence the instructions ought to be way more detailed.

Pros: Friend, convenient.

Cons: When I returned the car, the agent in the garage had me pull into the spot closest to him (to minimize his effort) to check the car in, and the. Had me moved it afterwards to another spot for parking. As the customer, I would expect either: 1. For him to point me to the parking spot and he come to the car to check it in, OR, 2. For him to move the car front when spot next to him after he is done checking it in. If I was in the US, I would have actually got out the car and not moved it

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Mileage: 2000 km per rental, Loss Damage Waiver (damage deductible: € 950.00), Third Party Liability (TPL), Free modifications.
Rate excludes
The following surcharges may apply: Winterization fee, Environmental Contribution fee.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 23.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

For vehicles in groups Economy, Compact, Mini, Economy Elite, Compact Elite a driver license issued at least 1 years ago is required.
For vehicles in groups Standard, Luxury, Intermediate, Premium, Fullsize, SUVs, Cabrios, Special a driver license issued at least 3 years ago is required. Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit. Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license. In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill).
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Payment policy
At the time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Diners, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
Payments with the following payment method(s): Cash are accepted only for the following car group(s): Economy, Compact, Mini, Standard, Fullsize.

Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Winter tires.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

During winter season (from 01.11 until 31.03) Winter tires are included in price.

Additional charges will be applied.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Winter tires are mandatory in icy/snowy conditions from 01.11 to 31.03.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 56 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 29 minutes.
